irc333
A male friend of mine was going to be it the area so he invited me along with himself, a female friend which I think he was wanting something more with...and she invited her female friend along with her husband. Well, it was a festival that was going on in the downtown area....we decided to stop by a restaurant to get something to eat, and at the end of the meal...my male friend was attempting to pay for the single woman's meal, she refused by saying, "No, that's okay I got it" but he was like, "Hey, don't worry about it, I have it" But she finally put her foot down and paid her own anyway. Now, I'm not sure if this is off putting to women, as I've never done this myself, but I have seen men attempt to do this to women that they have an interest in in a group setting. Ladies is this a major turn off? I brought this to his attention as being something that may be a turn off, but I think he back peddled and stated, "I do this with all my friends, male or female", but I wasn't buying it. MidwestUSA
I wouldn't be put off by it. I'd either insistently refuse to let him, as she did, or graciously accept. If it wasn't a small fortune, I'd probably accept. Nice enough gesture.
