daboyz Posted January 26, 2005 Share Posted January 26, 2005 Ok ...nailed down a second date with this girl that i have known for awhile now. We just had our 1st date a few days ago. The day after I sent her a dozen tulips just to let her know that I had a great time. Im pretty much a shy guy so I probably dont act when i should as in holding hands, touching and kissing. So my question is what is normal behavior for a second date. I really think this girl is special and I dont want to mess anything up ! Should I try to hold her hand a few times throughout the date ?? Should I go in for our 1st kiss sometime in the night before the awkward moment before we say goodbye ??? Just a shy guy who needs help .....LOL Thanks Link to post Share on other sites
krbshappy71 Posted January 26, 2005 Share Posted January 26, 2005 I think you are doing fine. Play it by ear, if she's giving you signals to move forward faster, then do so. If the moment doesn't present itself, then skip it and wait for the third date. If you've already held hands then definitely holding hands on the second date is acceptable and probably expected. If you didn't, try it on this date, she will pull away if its not okay. The evening goodbye can be a warm hug, there is nothing wrong with that.
