What is the best creams or stuff to put on your face to look young?

It all depends on your skin condition, and what you put inside you is just as important. Eating right and drinking lots of water will have positive results on your skin too.

How old are you? Do you have dry skin? Is it dry in some places and oily in others? Oily skin? Acne? Large pores? Uneven complexion? Do you wash your face every day? With what? What kind of makeup do you wear (if any)? Is your face exposed to the sun a lot? Do you use sun-screen on your face? Genetics plays a part too.

Figure out what type of skin you have and what you want to achieve and read labels.

I have oily skin and adult acne (didn't have it so much when I was younger, but now I got it!) and large pores seem to run in my family. Something that I do that has helped me is to wash my face in very hot water and I use Dove or Oil of Olay soap, then I fill a tup with ice cubes and after I've washed and rinced my face I hold the ice cubes to my face for 30 seconds on, 30- seconds off for about 3 - 5 minutes. Once the pores are clean the ice helps to reduce the size of the pores and tighten the skin. About twice a week I apply baby oil to my face then wash that off, because besides oily skin, I also tend to get dry skin in the winter. It stays dry for a little while and if I apply a cream it clogs the pores. Baby Oil will soften the skin and I wash it off with soap so that it leaves my skin soft, but not greasy. I don't apply creams that remain on the face because they will only clog the pores!

go to a health food/whole foods place and get a natural creme/lotion made with Rose oil, or Patchouli oil...they are both excellent for mature skin and make sure the formula has no synthetic oils, like petroleum-based stuff. You want ingredients that you know what they are when you read them. Lotions are generally "lighter" than cremes. Some places even have a line of their own lotions/cremes, that you can add in fragrance oils from a sort of buffet-bar.skip the fragrance oils and invest in an essential oil to mix in a few drops on your own.

I really like the Oil of Olay, the pink creme in the jar...and I put in real rose oil and a few drops of Patchouli, mix it up & use every day.It is lite, and it actually ABSORBS into the skin rather than evaporate on top of skin.
