motive2002
This morning I found a strange pubic hair in my gf's bedding. Upon examination it wasn't mine.. or hers. I asked her about it and she says she has no explaination as to how it got there. She says she hasn't been entertaining anyone in her bed that would be shedding pubes.. Her behavior has been suspicious the last couple months, and I'm already on watch for being jealous. Now she's mad and not speaking to me since I brought it up. Was I way off? BDL
She's lying and cheating. Trust your gut. The fact you started a thread about this means you already know...
georgecostanza
What was strange about this pube?
Author motive2002
What was strange is that it couldn't belong to either of us. Too dark for me, too long and not trimmed for her..
ExpatInItaly
Have there been any other signs? I know you said you're "on watch" for being jealous. Can you objectively evaluate the situation? (not the mystery hair, the current status of your relationship)
Chi townD
you say she's been acting strange for the last couple of months. How?
No Limit
If she's behaving strange/unusual and that for months and now this... honestly, you already see where this is going. So unless she has a dark-haired neighbour doing her laundry or she has a dark haired dog/cat she's sharing her bed with there was someone else in it. And it's not about "shedding pubes", we all loose hair/body cells each day. Guess she just forgot to clean up this time.
central
It's possible, but not highly likely, that it could have come from using a public washing machine or dryer. If she does not, then that source of doubt is eliminated.
Art_Critic
IMO, if it is your GF's bed not both of yours and you are sure that it is a pube and not a dog hair then either she let a friend of hers use the bed, drunk passed out roomie or something like that or she had someone else in there naked.. Could it be a leg hair ? the reason I ask is that a clothed person laying on the bed isn't likely to spit out pubes but a naked person would. too many possibles.. maybe it's best to keep your eye open and not go there any further with her
Shepp
Just putting it out there: are you certain sure it can't be yours? Just because without going TMI...I'm blonde, I grow a dirty blonde colour beard, you can probably guess what colour body hair I have......that doesn't mean that I don't sometimes get one random much much darker hair. Actually even in my actual head hair that happens sometimes (except then I find it and remove it). However it doesn't sound like this is just about the hair.
soccerrprp
Finding what "looks" like a pubic hair isn't proof. How do you know it's PUBIC hair?
Chi townD
If I were you, I wouldn't accuse her anymore. Finding a stray hair is pretty flimsy proof and can easily be explained away. But, it's a little evidence that makes you question what's going on. When you approached her with the hair, all you did was make her angry and more importantly; if she is having an affair, you taught her how to hide it better. SO, you need to be on the lookout. Hire a PI if you want. Most would say "No way" to a PI if it's only a girlfriend. But, if it was a girl you planned on marrying, then it might not be a bad investment. Act clueless. Not a care in the world and all is right in the universe. The more she thinks you're clueless, the stronger the possibility of her slipping up. Like, her leaving her phone out while she's in the shower. You can check her text messages, write down phone numbers you don't know and look them up later or activating the GPS option on her phone. I don't know if you live together; but if you do, then you can hide a VAR (Voice Activated Recorder) in the bedroom or a room where she talks the most on the phone. DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU DON'T LIVE TOGETHER!! You have questionable evidence at best. Now's the time to find out the truth.
thinkingofhim
Finding what "looks" like a pubic hair isn't proof. How do you know it's PUBIC hair? That's what I was thinking, could easily be armpit or facial hair. I think it would also be easy for the gf to miss a spot when trimming, I mean, it's kind of cramped quarters and low visibility down there if she's doing the trimming herself.
Elias33
Without 100% proof, you've only exposed yourself. Be on the lookout, but without confrontation.
No Limit
To be honest, now that the trust is at least not at its height anymore, I wonder why bother? Apparently she's been suspicious for months now...
pickflicker
How closely do you have to be combing the bedsheets to find an errant pubic hair? Sorry, this thread is kinda funny.
aussietigerwolf
Did you measure this hair against your girlfriends to make sure it wasn't just one of hers?
gaius
Does she go to the laundromat or use a shared washer?
oz-missy
Just because a hair is a different colour or coarser than normal hair, it doesn't mean it couldn't of come off the top of one of your heads either. Hair does generally grow uniformly but there is always the possibility of an errant hair that grown (I get the odd coarser hair on my head - I always yank it out when I find it!). So before you start accusing someone of cheating based on one hair - have a proper think about it. Are you just looking for some excuse to end it with her?
