The Court won't forget these grounds!

Recommended Posts

Well I'm done writing my divorce grounds.

This will probably be one of the more memorable ones the court reads.

While my grounds for Unreasonable Behaviour are pretty certain to be accepted, I don't think they will be expecting the additional statement.

I am actually showing that I'm understanding of her behaviour towards me. That she is actually a better person than her actions towards me show.

That I feel for her in the curcumstances that lead up to this.

The boss that abused his position, and emotionally manipulated my wife during a lonely and vulnerable time.

The friend that she thought she could trust and had to lower her own standards to retain this friendship and keep her secret safe.

The rat hole area that she's scared to walk the streets at night of. Because it's near the train station for work.

More importantly, the unbelievable revisions of our marriage to make it feel like it was all a mistake anyway. Making her feel like she moved thousands of miles for nothing.

I will also wish her well. That I bear her no bad feelings and that I understand why she felt the need to treat me this way.

I am checking out with class and dignity ladies and gentlemen!

I'm still not clear on what the additional statement is, but if it helps you heal then I'm probably all for it.

But I'd sure run it by a lawyer to ensure that you're not unwittingly shooting yourself in the foot.

There's nothing to shoot myself in the foot for.

No money involved. No children. She wanted the divorce a year ago.

She won't not sign it.

I just want her to know the character I have before she loses me.

She won't care at all. If anything it will just make you look like a chump to her.

Appeals to reason, morality, or even common decency don't have any effect on women.
