Keenly Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Most Women Don?t Deserve A Good Man What do you guys think ?
GorillaTheater Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 I'm not convinced that any of us "deserve" much of anything, but one thing I'm pretty sure of is that it's pretty odd for a 40-year-old guy to make sweeping judgments of women based on the actions of dumbass 22-year-old girls. 20

I think he is talking about late twenties to mid thirties. He even mentions thirties.
dragon_fly_7 Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 (edited) I think it's natural for some people (of both genders) to expect to be treated like a gem when they are far from that themselves. Some guys who also had sordid past and use their youthful years in manipulating women into sex suddenly expect to find themselves their precious nearly virginal gf when considering a LTR or marriage too. That's pathetic too. In the end I think most end up being with someone within their league. Low quality invididuals of either gender will attract low quality partners. Taramere Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 It just looks like another inflammatory and venting "Western women are awful" piece by somebody who no doubt considers himself the good guy prize that women don't deserve (a good guy who just happens to embroil himself in a social circle filled with the kind of people he despises). However, I'd like to comment because it reminds me of an incident from earlier today. I was walking down a fairly quiet street and suddenly encountered a gaggle of girls who were screaming "f*ckin' four-eyed cunt" in the direction of a couple of women who were walking away. I thought to myself "maybe some of these articles venting about modern women have a point". Then I started to think about scenes in classics I've read, historical accounts of cities such as London as they were a couple of hundred years ago and I decided that the little scene I'd just witnessed was probably quite tame in comparison with how people at the bottom rung of society used to behave. That little scene would probably, a couple of centuries ago, have quickly ended up in a savage, hair-pulling, face scratching, eye-blackening brawl. In the article you linked, pretty much all of the women look like they're from one of the lower socioeconomic classes. When people are motivated to pull themselves up and do well in life, it's probably in large part to try to escape having to spend a lot of time around people like that. Maybe this guy just isn't doing well enough in life that he can escape them. Perhaps he has a lot more in common with those women than he realises, or wants to admit. Like does tend to attract like. If I found myself constantly in the company or proximity of people I absolutely despised, I'd be thinking that it was time for a bit of self reflection and change. 14
GoreSP Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Return of Kings. Figures. These men don't deserve a good woman anyways. (not all men - just these particular douchebags.) 4

I have personal experience with one girl that behaved like the article described. Her parents were actually quite wealthy. I think its not lower class behavior, but actually spoiled brat daddy's girl behavior. 3

This ^^ I honestly cannot even begin to tell you what I think about this "article". It's slut shaming at its best (or worst). Note that he is not referring to young party girls (which would still be bad), but to ALL women. If he has such a moral high ground, then why is he friend's with this girl he clearly does not respect at all?? I... I just can't... 10
xxoo Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 This good woman would avoid that man like the plague. I'm not surprised he is surrounded with women with little self respect. 9
Author Keenly Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 The guy definitely comes off with an arrogance about him. I don't necessarily agree with the entire article, but I at least agree with the premise that a lot of women feel they deserve a good guy but their actions and behavior prove otherwise. I'm sure its the same for reversed genders. 1

I think its not lower class behavior, but actually spoiled brat daddy's girl behavior. All the money in the world won't transform a goose into a swan. Being classy may help a person to do well and acquire money, but unclassy people can also become wealthy. I think the pictures used in that article tell their own story. As does the fact that the guy chose to publish them in his article (particularly the picture with the little girl in it) and the general tone of his discourse. He can't be that guy and attract "good" women. 2
M30USA Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 ...but unclassy people can also become wealthy. Wait! But Joel Osteen said... 1
kiss_andmakeup Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 This good woman would avoid that man like the plague. I'm not surprised he is surrounded with women with little self respect. This. Like attracts like. This man is toxic, and thus, he attracts and notices toxic women. The people who go on and on about how trashy/slutty/moronic/entitled/bratty/etc their social circle is have obviously yet to learn that you do have control over whom you choose to associate and socialize with. I've deleted people (male and female) from my Facebook because I get so sick of seeing their asinine garbage every day. Why on earth would I be caught dead hanging out with, let alone dating, people like this? It's not like it's difficult to weed out. 14
GorillaTheater Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Wait! But Joel Osteen said... Don't EVEN get me started on the guy who turned one of the state's premier basketball and concert venues into the First Megachurch of Hucksterism. 3
Taramere Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Wait! But Joel Osteen said... I don't know who Joel Osteen is. What did he say?

janedoe67 Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 I don't know who Joel Osteen is. What did he say? You don't need to know who he is. In fact, count yourself as blessed among humans that you DON'T know who he is..... 5
M30USA Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 One thing I have noticed, as a separate point, is there are certain women that guys can only have success with if they act like a jerk or turn themselves into a jerk. This is a strange phenomenon to me. I've seen ordinarily decent men who turn into shady characters in order to attract or maintain a certain woman. I believe these women need to be avoided. I'm not sure if they intentionally try to transform men in this fashion, or if they FEEL like they deserve to be treated like garbage and subconsciously force their men into it, but it's very sad.

M30USA Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Why would they even waste a minute of their time with those unstable, troubled women anyways? Why is the sky blue? Why does the pig return to the mud?
GorillaTheater Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Why would they even waste a minute of their time with those unstable, troubled women anyways? Usually because they're unstable and/or troubled themselves. Or vastly inexperienced. 6
Author Keenly Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 Would you say they deserve to be treated badly? If they are all around bad human beings? Absolutely.
joystickd Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Some people in both genders that dont deserve good partners. 1
