Jordvn
hi. So I'm curious about this subject. I'm painfully shy and quiet around new people. Only when I'm around familiar ppl is when I come out of my shell. my girlfriend recently dumped me partly because of this, told me "You're tall, and handsome, but too quiet." It shattered my confidence and it's been hard trying to get back in the dating scene. I've been depressed and keep thinking that I can't satisfy my partner intellectually. Ppl said girls like me because I'm quiet and not a "sweet talking douchebag" like many dudes out there. But idk if I believe this from what I've gone through with my ex. so do any of you women out there prefer quiet guys? Or is this a problem?
Gaeta
I love quiet men. I can't stand the arrogant and the mr-know-it-all of this world. My last boyfriend was suffering from severe shyness but what a sweetheart he was. To me he was like a rock, strong, silent, trustworthy, he did not talk a lot but when he did talk it was smart and interesting. My new boyfriend is also a quiet man. He doesn't want any of the attention to be on him, he wants it all to be on me. When he says he'll do something he does, he doesn't talk to say nothing, he doesn't fill our silence with saying stupid stuff and he never brags. There is a someone for everyone. Some women prefer extroverted men and many women like me prefer a nice quiet man.
smackie9
You have to remember girls are social creatures and like having a man by their side that can carry on a conversation with others. You just have to find a girl that is as quiet as you and is a bit of an introvert or you start putting yourself out there more, challenging your shyness and over coming it.

True, my ex said I can't carry on conversations with her friends. That was the only thing that was wrong with me, they said behind my back. it's like I have a hard time trusting ppl as well. I just hope the perfect woman comes my way soon...
