Author M30USA
Yes, I know it sounds arrogant. I never said I wasn't arrogant. This is why I'm trying to make this change.

pureinheart
Believe me, I'm a lot more stupid in real life...when I don't have time to think about what I say. Somehow stupid is not a term I'd ever use for you:) Yes, I know it sounds arrogant. I never said I wasn't arrogant. This is why I'm trying to make this change. We all either are or were at some point in our lives arrogant- that and much, much more. Thank God for imperfect people! M30, you have a really good heart and I really thank you for all of the knowledge that you've taken the time to communicate to me and others. mea_M
Big time emotional freedom from not sleds having to be right. Sounds like you are on the right track. Mea :-)
Eternal Sunshine
There are scientific facts that are black or white. For example a guy I was dating said: "Sun exposure increases your levels of vitamin C". I cringed as he made other wrong statements before and dislikes it when I correct him. soccerrprp
I was waiting for a movie to start the other day and there were these 3 over educated knuckleheads sitting behind me yacking about what a hero Bradley Manning is. Took every fiber of my being to keep looking straight ahead and not say anything. I dont think I've quite gotten to that point yet. This world has an illness and I'm the cure. Well, the Bradley Manning issue is subjective. For some it was heroic, for others traitorous. You can make arguments for either side. Subjective (and objective). I'm with most. I don't correct people, but sometimes chime in by saying something like "oh, really, I thought....."

He admitted to some guy he did it because he was angry with the army and his supervisors and wanted to be spiteful and show them how smart he really was, not because he felt any real wrong doing was going on. That was just the BS excuse. And at the end of the day nobody learned anything new of importance from what he leaked. Except people overseas maybe. Society makes a lot of things seem a lot more subjective than they really are because a lot of people have stupid opinions and they don't want to offend them. I guess I don't care about my social standing all that much because I usually don't hesitate to correct in a non-diplomatic way.

Just wanted to comment that you are definitely not ready to let others be wrong..... LOL At least you are honest about it
