King Bowls
Because it seems I either push people away or annoy them, I'm not good at anything, I've got problems, and everything is somehow a huge obstacle. SerCay
Get tested for ADD. I felt like you and that was what was causing it. Maybe for you as well, never know.
Author King Bowls
Think about what you like to do or what you would like to do? I like to lift weights and want to become very powerful and I want to be an entrepreneur and become extremely wealthy

topaMAXX
I have ADD. I also have a disorder where I get obsessed and learn everything about something then jump on to something else I was diagnosed with ADHD. Personally, I think it's an overblown diagnosis. I handle it without medications. I have a successful career, make good money, date attractive women, and go to the gym 4-5 days per week. Suck it up, commit to something, and stick with it. You'll find no sympathy here.
topaMAXX
I like to lift weights and want to become very powerful and I want to be an entrepreneur and become extremely wealthy Sounds like an entitlement mentality and following the herd. Do you have a solid plan as to how you will do this? Are you willing to put in time and effort and make sacrifices?

Are you willing to put in time and effort and make sacrifices? I don't feel entitled it, because I know it requires a tremendous amount of work. I don't have a rock solid plan but I'm in college learning and working hard to get it together.

jba10582
Hey King, keep embracing who you are and continue to improve areas of your life, you feel need them most. Things will fall in line little by little as you take steps towards your goal. I think there will always be obstacles on any path because it often feels like things don't always move in a straight line even when you are working in that direction, often it seems like two steps forward one step back and things do go off in tangents, but in doing so its a learning process, and that is part of the importance of life experiences and something you seem to have a good understanding of. You're still young and got a lot of time to figure things out and work on whatever areas you want.
Emilia
I have ADD. I also have a disorder where I get obsessed and learn everything about something then jump on to something else I thought you did, I recognised it from your posts. This is probably why I like your threads. Not everyone has issues with ADD.
Grumpybutfun
I think this is fairly normal for your age to still be searching. I find your threads interesting and you don't annoy me, rather enlighten me to things I normally don't think about. Best, Grumps
SerCay
I have ADD. I also have a disorder where I get obsessed and learn everything about something then jump on to something else That IS ADD? I recognize so much of myself in you... From time to time I still have exactly the thoughts you're having at the moment...Learn to love yourself with ADD and everything that comes with it. You know what will help? Actually realizing how much fun and interesting this odd thing called ADD makes you for everyone around you.

Everyone else has found their talent but me. How do I turn this ship around and "fix" these things? I don't know, but is it possible that you are having a hard time finding people that really understand you? Sometimes people get annoyed with, or keep their distance from people they don't understand. Sometimes though, I do think when we are unhappy we can become a little abrasive. I think finding a 'talent' that makes you happy is a trial and error thing- and trust me not everyone has found it. I personally play piano, have since I was little, I am pretty good, but never play for anyone. It is something that makes me feel incredibly good on a day to day basis. Maybe look for something that will make you feel good rather than something others will validate you for?
maturityassets
I'm just curious as to how you push people away? I for one have social anxiety (Been working on it through different type of therapies for 2 and a half years) and I always feel like people are looking to get rid of me or I bother them, when it isn't true. Besides my close friends and girlfriend my acquaintances always seem to fizzle out mainly because I feel too uncomfortable to keep close; mainly because I feel I'll come off as awkward or bother them. I guess my main point is it that you really push or annoy others away? And if yes is it because they view you as annoying or is it because there is a lack of communication. People with really high self esteem tend to forget things because they don't dwell on them. They don't analyze their encounters or hold things personal unless directed. So sometimes we let people go by because we assume that they view us a certain way but in all reality they hardly have any judgmental impressions. Those with low self esteem are more likely to be the judgmental and bullying types. Also the power and entrepreneur thing... Many different types of Power. There is physical, mental, emotional, social, monetary, sexual and personal powers. I tend to focus on mental and emotional because they allow me to expand my horizon. Just know you don't have to feel like that you have to be wealthy to love your life, in fact you can feel just as powerful without tons of money.
Emilia
is it because there is a lack of communication. Why the lack of communication? I noticed this with someone. Is it part of social anxiety?

We all have our own timeline in life. And it does not mean you don't have talent just because you have not found it yet. Do a little soul searching and I bet you'll be amazed by the results. maturityassets
Well if people are socially anxious they have difficulty in maintaining contact with new or unfimilar people. Afraid to say hello or any greeting. My point I guess is that when striving to become close to people us socially anxious make it difficult to be approachable because we hardly approach people. But once we are close with someone then we talk like ourselves

I like to have intelligent conversations which has become a lost art in my generation. And few people it seems share 75% or more similar Interests. My mother used to play the piano. I think you're right, do things that make me feel great instead of worrying about being validated.

I push them away by talking too much, asking too many questions, saying something stupid, or if its girls, sometimes I have stupidly said that I think they have pretty feet or something. Which if that pushes them away then I deserve it. And I have been annoying before too, but not intentionally. Very true what you're saying. Money isn't everything.

maturityassets
Hey man don't say you deserve it. That would be punishing yourself and no need to ever do that. So you have a little trouble with boundaries is all. It's not something you can't overcome. Plenty of people have trouble with boundaries
