Anyone feel manipulated (arranged) by your fam and hate it?

My family is feeling pity for me.

 

That is fine, it's "family love", but they are idiots. They don't get it that they need to TELL me.

 

I even say it to their face. I say, "I know you're trying to set me up, but can you just SAY IT because I find out by creepy coincidences and it starts to feel like some weird godly religious creepy universal thing.. IE, paranoia that I'm being "controlled by puppet masters"

 

Then they give a blank stare, say "I doooon't know??", yet, right after I say that, the people I feel are being setup with me suddenly "change" and stop.

 

Coincidence again? I think not. I know they went and told them "back off, he's onto us..."

 

 

Anyone relate?? Let's form a group and conspire back against them... muahaha

That's what every family does. Being a grownup is about telling them to F off (well, not in those words - ridding your life of them). They may love you, probably...it's possible. But they just don't have your best interests in mind. Only you can direct your life the way you need to.

I think that it is important that you sit them down and be 100% sure that they are actually trying to set you up. Tell them that you are concerned, and won't mind if they are, but need to make sure that it isn't in your head.

 

If I were you, I would want to be sure that the paranoia and feelings that you are being controlled by various external forces is in fact due to their actions as opposed to something else.
