Immiejules
Hi, I am getting married in 3 weeks and this past week ive been getting 'cold feet' I am starting to fantasize about being single and independent not for the seeing other people side more so for the doing my own thing, also anything my partner does or says just irritates me and im becoming quite short with him. I don't really understand why im feeling like this as I was really excited about getting married to my partner and starting a new chapter as husband and wife but now in just starting to dread it. I don't know if this is just 'cold feet' that you get or if its me trying to tell myself something but I would appreciate your opinions on why im feeling like this all of a sudden. thank you. d0nnivain
Weddings make people crazy. I HATED wedding planning. OMG. It was the worst thing ever & I had it relatively easy. Take all the BS out of it. Forget the flowers, & the bridesmaids, & your dress & whether Aunt Gertrude is happy. Now breathe. Relax for a few minutes. Do something to calm your brain & lower your blood pressure. Now think about your FI & just your FI. Do you feel calmer? Do you feel connected? Do you love your FI? If yes, it's just cold feet. If no, try to focus on what's wrong. Be specific. If you come up with good reasons for your cold feet -- abuse, alcoholism, cheating etc. rethink the wedding.
