Speakingofwhich
Health thread here other than sexual health? Maybe I missed it. Thought I might get a diagnoses from armchair Docs on LS! Stabbing muscle spasm in left ear lobe every 10 minutes. Very painful muscle aches neck, back, shoulders. Low grade fever. Grouching in posts on LS. No cough, congestion or coping! FitChick
Ear lobes don't have muscles.
Author Speakingofwhich
Ear lobes don't have muscles. LOL, you're right! Should have written stabbing pain in ear lobe and muscle aches and pains. Too sick to think straight but not too sick to chuckle! Thanks for the laugh!
melell
Sounds viral to me. Keep an eye on temp if you can, stay hydrated, should sort itself out. Some viruses are much, much worse than others, so just make sure if it gets much worse quickly to see a doctor. As far as I am aware ls doesn't have a health section to avoid people taking not so good advice from armchair doctors
Author Speakingofwhich
Thanks, Melell, TheNoBSBuddist, Did go to my chiropractor and treatment (adjustment and soft tissue) helped. Have another apptmt next week with him. He is a professor and practices one day every two weeks on the side to keep up with the practical side of things. Taking antiviral herbs. Just have never had this extreme stiffness & all over pain in back and neck accompanied by fever. Fever down this morning. Going to try to get a massage today. Muscles knotted up in back in one particular area.
MidwestUSA
LOL @ grouching on posts on LS. And 'no coping'! Sounds like stress/tension manifesting itself in your neck/shoulders, which is where we carry it. Fever could be coincidental. That massage should do wonders; make sure they do some deep tissue release, altho you may be sore after. Drink lots of water to flush the released toxins out. Feel better soon!
MidwestUSA
Oh, and if that stiffness gets worse, and you have headache? Must not rule out meningitis. Unlikely, I know, but I'd feel remiss in not mentioning it. Stiff neck is the hallmark sign.

stillafool
Do you still have your wisdom teeth? That may be your problem.
Author Speakingofwhich
Yes, I do, stillafool, do tell? (I have plenty of space behind them btw, no crowding.)
stillafool
You still may want to check with your dentist about them. Your symptons sound like it could be your wisdom teeth. Hope it gets better soon.
