chica
Does anyone here know much about Gestalt therapy and philosophies? There is a course I am considering doing through the Gestalt college in my city and I would love to hear any comments on what you think of the principles and practice of it. I know it is to do with each individuals perception and what makes them who they are etc, but not much more. Thanks
crbelljn
Chica, I know a little about philosophy. I have been reading about the great philosophers - Greeg, Modern, Existentionalt, Contemporary, etc. and I really enjoy it. I have read about Psychoanalysis from Froyd and Logo-therapy form Victor Frank, but I have not heard about Gestalt therapy. What is it about? Anyways I think taking the course is a great idea to expand your knowledge!
bluechocolate
Isn't there a lot of shouting involved? I thought the song "Shout" by Tears for Fears, was about gestalt therapy. Perhaps I'm getting my therapies confused.
