Noproblem
Had a big fight with my sister. How can she be so mean to me? How can she say those words? And why I always forgive her

bubbaganoosh
I had a horrible blow out with my sister. We were always close from the time we were kids and through adulthood. When she was 65 and I was 60, we had a blow out and I talked to her once over the phone and cleared the air just a bit but not quiet enough. A year later she died. I'm $h!t out of luck trying to patch things up with her so think about that for a while.
SummerAngel
My sister is 6 years younger than me and I've had plenty of fights with her. I have decided we will never be close because she is full of drama and toxic, and I have learned to accept that. She never came to my son's baby shower, to see my sons in the hospital when they were born, and never asked me to be in her wedding. I've done all the reaching out , and she has continued to hurt me. She's pregnant now, so I just have moved on. It's better this way. I don't hurt as much and I feel better. Hope that helps.

I think after giving toxic siblings several chances to clear the air, it is sometimes necessary to move on. Toxic relationships can be very stressful, and life is hard enough without having to deal with a negative sibling. Just because siblings are related, it doesn't mean that we have to keep a lifelong relationship with them.
