loveislife11
I would like to ask all of you if this scenario seems logical? I have a relative that is divorced from an ex. This relative is still maintaining attachments to their ex MIL; the relation seem to be where the MIL asks or requests inclusion. Even though the ex has moved far away and out of state. To me this seems illogical and would seem as though the ex might still be trying to maintain an unhealthy attachment even though there were no kids involved. It has been almost 5 years since the dissolution and I am wondering if there is some kind of unhealthy tie maintained for unknown reasons between the ex and this relative via the utilization of the MIL? FYI-technically while the two were married this relative made it quite known that she did not appreciate so to speak the MIL when the MIL was around.
preraph
It makes it hard on the exes when it happens. But it doesn't mean they're still involved. Sometimes people become friends and don't want to lose a friend.
