krista28
I am working for a clinical trial company that is going under. We are doing everything we can to float and getting new patients where we cam but we dont have doctors that are very involved. Every week its pressure on me to approach new doctors nd find subjects but I am not paid to be a manager...and I am getting really stressed. My boss is working 14 hr days. I am feeling its not my company and they need to get it together. Im fed up....what do I do...
Craft81
If I knew something like this would happen, I would definitely start looking for other jobs -- if the company went under, you would definitely be protected with unemployment benefits from the government (assuming you are in the US). Be proactive about the situation and start looking elsewhere for work in your area perhaps. Good luck.
Targetlock
get out while you can! don't let this job pull you under with it!
learning_slowly
Yes, unless your getting paid with shares or something, so it's in your interest. Or maybe they helped you, when you needed a break. If you stay try to get as organised as possible. I use evernote now, and ensure you get as much sleep as possible to counteract the high cortisol. And maybe 5-10 mins meditation before sleep, to remind yourself why / who you're doing this for?
jba10582
Phosphatidylserine inhibits cortisol and has other possible side benefits such as regulating blood glucose, improved cognition/memory, reduced depression, and weight loss.
Rob11
Agree - start looking and applying for work elsewhere. It's time to be looking to the future, which would appear to be the more healthy option for you. Best of luck!

If you have linkedin that's a great place to find industry contacts for potential jobs. Get out before they say get out. Sorry you're dealing with this, unfortunately our world job market is a bit shaky at the moment. Good luck. Mea :-)
Eunice Carter
Oftentimes, when we’re stressed, it seems like a big mess with stressors appearing from every angle. We start to feel like we’re playing a game of dodge ball, ducking and darting so we don’t get smacked by a barrage of balls. We take a defensive position, and not a good one at that. Instead of feeling like you’re flailing day to day, identify what you’re actually stressed about. Is it a specific project at work, an upcoming exam, a dispute with your boss, a heap of laundry, a fight with your family? By getting specific and pinpointing the stressors in your life, you’re one step closer to getting organized and taking action.
