Baumer
Better to call or text to set up date? And if the former ask to call or call out of the blue?
Treasa
Call. Just call.
Mo_Do
What point are we at here? If you haven't met don't call her out of the blue.
Candy_Pants
Call her. Yeah, even "out of the blue". But only once, and if she doesn't answer leave a brief message on voicemail, then DO NOT text or call unless she texts or calls.
Author Baumer
Met this weekend. Don't exactly live close but I have to try. She gave me her number. We've texted a bit, but her interest level isn't clear. Seems to leave me hanging for a bit but then gets back apologetically and using exclamations hunny, etc. Figure with a call I can clear it up quicker
Author Baumer
So I'm definitely going to call. If there's no answer do I leave a voicemail? Ask her out in it or just ask her to call back? Still unsure about that scenario.
mammasita
I'm going to disagree with everyone that says "just call" - I HATE HATE HATE speaking on the phone. Even if you call me, I'll watch my phone ring - wont care if you leave a message and just wait for you to text. Age doesn't mattter (I'm in my 30's) personal preferance does. I only ever call my mom when I'm driving...she doesn't know how to text so I HAVE to call her, otherwise I would never. That said, I would text first then figure out her preference and go with it.
