Candy_Pants
Short background, my sister has been married nearly four years with two small kids. Her H is in the army and she's suspected him of cheating a few times (but is also very paranoid). She's made friends with her GORGEOUS neighbor who has been married for 15 years, got married very young. Moved in with my sister temporarily. Husband says she's cheating and suspects she's cheating with my sister's husband. Months ago I saw them interact. He was a bumbling idiot. She was kinda flirty and dressed very....unmodestly. I didn't say anything but it kinda made me think "hmmm". Fast forward and three weeks after the "friend" is getting divorced, my sister's husband also wants a divorce. He hasn't even said WHY. And is begrudgingly going to MC (but has only agreed to one session). I want to talk to my sister about my suspicions but HECK I might be the paranoid one here and don't want to stress her out further. So, whaddya think?
Author Candy_Pants
Here you go. Short background, my sister has been married nearly four years with two small kids. Her H, my BIL, is in the army and she's suspected him of cheating a few times (but is also very paranoid). Sister made friends with her GORGEOUS neighbor who has been married for 15 years, got married very young. Moved in with my sister temporarily. Neighbor's husband says neighbor is cheating and suspects she's cheating with my sister's husband. Months ago I saw BIL and gorgeous neighbor interact. BIL was a bumbling idiot. Neighbor was kinda flirty and dressed very....unmodestly. I didn't say anything but it kinda made me think "hmmm". Fast forward and three weeks after the neighbor is getting divorced, my sister's husband also wants a divorce. BIL hasn't even said WHY. And is begrudgingly going to MC (but has only agreed to one session). I want to talk to my sister about my suspicions but HECK I might be the paranoid one here and don't want to stress her out further. So, whaddya think?
KungFuJoe
Wait a sec...the neighbor moved in with your sister? Did I read that right?
joanofark
I'm reading this as the Sister and BIL are both cheating with the GORGEOUS neighbor couple. wife swap?
HPrynne
No swap. The female gorgeous neighbor wife (we'll call her Neighbor Wife) has moved in with OP's sister and BIL. Neighbor Wife is getting a divorce. Three weeks after she moves into the OP's sister's house, with sister and BIL, BIL all of a sudden wants a divorce. BIL and Neighbor Wife have had some kind of flirty interaction in the past, witnessed by the OP. The OP wants to know whether something may be up between the BIL and the Neighbor Wife who is currently living in OP's sister's house with sister and BIL. Sure sounds like something's going on between BIL and Neighbor Wife.
Author Candy_Pants
Whoa I guess I messed this up. My brother in law might be cheating with the hot neighbor. Sister isn't cheating. Neighbor's husband thinks hot neighbor (his wife) is cheating with my BIL. And yeah, my sister let this hot neighbor move into her house temporarily. Now BIL wants a divorce three weeks after the hot neighbor separated from her husband and moved in with my sister. Hope that makes sense now. I blame pregnancy brain. beach
I never understand why any married couple invites others into the house to stay. It's inviting trouble every time. And no - don't point out the obvious to your sister... She has her own brain.
KungFuJoe
My head hurts. Umm...my only advice? Stay out of it.
SoleMate
You're still missing pronouns and in fact grammatical subjects. Please make sure every sentence has an accurate subject. Also label each individual clearly. Thank you.
Anela
I would probably speak up about my suspicions, but I no longer have a relationship with my sister, so... maybe she needs to hear it from somebody else, though (as in: maybe she harbours suspicions, too, but is afraid to say it, or she's feeling it but not acknowledging it). If her husband wants a divorce, the timing is rather convenient for it not to be this hot neighbour.
sillyanswer
I want to talk to my sister about my suspicions but HECK I might be the paranoid one here and don't want to stress her out further. So, whaddya think? Is your relationship with your sister good enough that she will appreciate unsolicited advice on this difficult matter? (no need to answer, just something to think about)
