pink_sugar
Weight on a scale doesn't mean much. Muscle weighs more than fat so two people of the same weight will look completely different if one is in shape and the other one isn't. A muscular person will also burn more calories than a fat one, even while resting. You need to convert your fat into muscle. Then you'll be able to eat cake and have no worries like your BF. This. When I was 118...my lowest (eating less, not much exercise) compared to about 123 (eating slightly more, exercise 5 times a week) I looked trimmer and more "in shape" at 123 than I did at 118 and not exercising.
Leigh 87
For the record, I am BMI 22 - 23 ish and my boyfriend thinks I look lovely the way I am and he couldn't care less if I lost or gained a little weight. Do it for your health but it is a huge red flag that your bf admits he would"prefer" you to lose weight. Yeah, my bf is thin too.
