Natsume21
Sounds nice, would you recommend it for a vacation ? Sure, if you like drunk rednecks, ignorant ghetto people, racists, and traditionalism that hasn't been acceptable since the 50s, being shot at, working min wage and only being able to get min wage jobs, and dealing with old craggy folk. It's a paradise if you love that sort of thing.

Author ahthepain
Thanks again for all the posts. It is making me feel better. Now I think she will be at the cinema with her new guy and that does get me down I think the adreniline from the car crash has worn off and this is a big low. And lost another $80,000 gambling, but I'll win that back no problem over the next few days! My family are the nicest people in the world and they care for me soo much. My Mum really disliked my ex though and I know for a fact she pushed her away, so that makes me resent her quite abit. I have gone through some tough stuff in my life, really tough and never once have I even considered suicide but this is incredible. How could the power of losing someone who doesn't even like me anymore drive me to the point of no return?

I have gone through some tough stuff in my life, really tough and never once have I even considered suicide but this is incredible. How could the power of losing someone who doesn't even like me anymore drive me to the point of no return? Everything this girl did was a choice. No one made her cut you off. She did that herself. Trust me, ex gave me the same excuse when I found myself called by the police over a false stalking charge. I'm just glad you seem pretty down to earth. Keep that up and in no time you won't keep the ladies off of you. Your ego is majorly bruised like the Broncos at Super Bowl 48. Don't listen to it. It's that naughty kid in class who just wants to get you in trouble, cept this trouble may be your last offense. Be smart, see this woman as a liar, and treat yourself as you would be treated. Let's be buds, bro. Much love to you and yours.
KaliLove
Don't be mad at your mom. Your ex would have left whether your mom liked her or not. You're not at the point of no return. You just have to start putting the work in to come back from this. Your both practically just kids..you have SO much time to settle down. You should both be enjoying your youth.

And lost another $80,000 gambling, but I'll win that back no problem over the next few days! ? Say what? 80 Grand? You can dump 80 Grand without batting an eye in gambling? You're worried about a chick when you got 80 grand lying around just to throw away, and you're not even sweating having it back. Holy Chow, dude, look in the mirror. You might not realize this but you're lucky as hell. Sure you have your problems, and this is one of them, you're emotionally sensitive, but you'll get over it. The beauty of it all is that you can EASILY learn to distract yourself. A part of me wants to come through the computer and grab you, shake you and say "Go have some REAL fun. No gambling!" You're on a path of self-destruction using a resource most of us would kill just to have. You are blessed beyond anything I can explain. Please stop hurting yourself and enjoy the beauties of life few people get to experience. If you're dead, she wins and you're in the ground. Pay her back where it really hurts: with a good life.

Author ahthepain
Thanks guys You know what ... Screw her!!!! I hate her for what she has put me through. I did everything for her. Supported her when her Mum died, helped her move 3 times! Bought nearly everything in her flat. Gave her money each month to help her get by. I invested my life into her and if she doesn't want that then it's her loss! She was stunning and funny but there will be another! I can see it. But I let the dark times grab me hard and consume me! Well tonight it's over. I'm letting her go. No going back. She will realise that she had a guy who adored her and would have given her the world when she is stuck with some boring idiot in 5 years time, but I'll be happy because I'll be with someone who loves me back as much as I love them!. Goodbye girl. I will never hurt myself or my family over you. |Never! I have already wasted far too much time thinking about you after the break up and now enough is enough. Goodbye. Thanks guys. I will try my absolute hardest to stick at this and never speak to her again (until I am 100% indifferent atleast). Go me!!!!
Natsume21
Dude, so many stunning looking girls out there. I've met a few. Most of them self-absorbed bitches. Just the ones I've known. Don't worry bro. Turn your anger into gasoline and fuel your way out of that slump.
LadyM
Sometimes parents know and can see negative traits in our partners that we refuse to see or admit to. My gentle dad who never says anything bad about anyone warned me that my ex-boyfriend was a vicious and cruel man. And he was dead right. Remember that all of life consists of highs and lows. Just like you started feeling better after reading all the responses to your post. Your mood was elevated. Next time you are feeling suicidal, remember that if you wait just a little longer, something somehow is bound to change and you will feel better. It always happens that way. You expressed great love for your wonderful family. As horrible as you may be feeling now about your girlfriend leaving you, it is NOTHING compared to the never-ending sorrow they will feel for the rest of their days if you should take your own life. You don't want that for them. Suicide is not an option for you. Remember that.

Author ahthepain
Update : Thanks to all you guys for the support the other evening I've made it through the last few days. I was indeed at the lowest point in my life. I think the adrenaline had worn off from nearly killing myself in the car crash and that's when it really hit me that the one person who had supported and comforted me over the last 3 years doesn't even care enough to text my friend back asking if I'm alive or not. I completed the last bit of NC and left the same clan we were in on a mobile game together. I want to forget her face. There are previous pictures of us still on my facebook that I occasionally see. I won't delete them otherwise I have no pictures but I'm cutting down my facebook usage. It still hurts like hell, but I was feeling better when I made it through a week of NC, so I shall continue to get through this with your guys help
BC1980
I'm glad you're going to therapy. This woman clearly did a number on you. I understand. My ex totally effed up my life for a year.

Summerrose2013
My friends brother took his own life, his family have never recovered from it. Now when I'm feeling down, my family tell me that if I ever did that they would take all my animals to the vet and have them put to sleep - and there is no way I'm ever going to let that happen. Sly old foxes my family - they know me too well! My pets have stood by me longer than any man! I would never leave them despite EVERY EX Ive ever had complaining about them!! They have seriously saved my life a few times over the last few years and dragged me kicking and screaming through the darkest days. If I'm upset, they know it. They are really theraputic too. If you don't have one, think about it. Cats are great soothers, for stroking, dogs are great for getting you out and chatting to other dog walkers. They give you a reason to get up in the morning.
Author ahthepain
I have a dog who is great. I wasn't able to stay over at my exs very often at all because she had a 1 bed flat and dogs weren't allowed so I sometimes feel resentful towards my dog, but she does cheer me up and gets me out the house for lots of nice walks. Grrrrr the thought of her with the new guy is constantly in my head. I can't seem to stop thinking about what they must be doing together. It's torture.

One of the most powerful emotions is a man's ego. You're so concerned about her sleeping with another man you fail to see that the person he's sleeping with is a liar and a cheater, and sooner or later he's gonna get shafted, or more than likely, he's gonna shaft her..hard. One of the worst things you can do to turn a woman off is act like she's your property. I know none of us want them to leave, so we have to overcome that notion or else it'll drive us crazy. Treat every woman like an experience, and keep at it cause there's a new one right around the corner. --Natsume21.
KaliLove
When you start thinking about her, get your butt up and do something to take your mind off of everything. Don't just sit around and wallow. You're not magically going to heal, you have to put the work in. Glad you seem to be doing better though.
Author ahthepain
Not much I can do on a Friday night though. I really don't feel like going out, no friends to go out with anyway. So I guess I just watch TV and wallow. But I'm consuming all this horrific pain, which is a good thing right?

Just if you start thinking about her, just accept the thoughts and don't let it get you down. You got your WHOLE LIFE ahead of you, and you will fall in love again. I healed up pretty nicely, and I live in a small town 100 miles away from the nearest city.
