brandon Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 I'm curious, I've tried to do research on my own, but why is anal sex often reffered to as "Greek Style". Does anybody know the cultural origins of the terminology?
opaleye Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 I don't really know but maybe since homosexual sex was pretty common among ancient Greeks it got called that? It was normal for men to have relationships with other men and the assumption was that once the men had had their fun in their youth they would buckle down and get married and have a family. Maybe that has something to do with it.

A young Spartan wanted to leave the army, but his father wouldn't get off his back & he didn't want to leave his brother's behind. (and yes - they're Spartan not Greek - but seeing as we're being historically accurate I thought I could just slip it in ... )
