Dog Woman
It's been nearly 3 months since I posted on here after exMM was persistently trying to contact me. Since then I have had very very limited civil contact with him at one or two dog shows with me just passing the time of day if our paths crossed. There have been one or two low points in that time, triggers of memories, but I got over them. Last night I saw him at a dog show. He was the first person I came across when I went in the venue. He said Hi, and I said Hi back then he started to moan about why he was at the show. I walked away, couldn't be bothered to listen and went and talked to some other contacts. He was with other people within my earshot and all he was doing was boasting and complaining. I kept my distance from him, had a good night, my dog got placed and I enjoyed the atmosphere but I drove away thinking - what on earth did I ever see in exMM. In the last 3 months I have joined another dog club, met with up with some old contacts and am beginning a new chapter in my life. There's no other man on the horizon but I'm happy as I am for now.
