learning_slowly
Most people are / were on here because they had difficulties. What makes you want to strive for a better future? For instance this morning, an Alicia Keys song was on the radio: "Its on again". It made me want to go and get productive. Obviously , there's things like other people too. I see my nephew and neice and know I want that too.
Lernaean_Hydra
I'm pretty young so it's generally nothing very life-changing or interesting. To be honest, the only thing that gets me out of bed in the morning is what the day might bring. I used to be tremendously depressed and waking up was a major chore, but now, thankfully, my attitude has turned a little so now I live the kind of life where random things happen, and those random things happen to be good. Thus, waking up means the potential to get into something crazy and/or fun. I can't live like this forever I know, but for now, it's what gets me out of bed in the morning... Author learning_slowly
Lernaean Its cool. When you're young the whole idea is to be crazy as much as possible while trying to keep down your studies/job. Nobody looks back and thinks I wish I had been more boring. Eternal Sunshine "You've lost that loving feeling..." . Sometimes its good to stay in bed, and not only for that! I had a hard workout in the gym last night, then had a meeting this morning and it killed to wake up. TigerLilly78 I'm sad you feel like that. If that's the way it is then my advice to get out there and see what happens will probably fall on deaf ears, but only you can change your life. And any change sounds better than the way you are describing your life, so what harm is there in trying? Good luck.

Imported
I don't have to work today. I didn't set my alarm (I always wake before my alarm anyway). I still woke up before 5am. And got out of bed shortly after. I am regretting that because I was out late last night and went to sleep late. By 6am, I realized I shoulda stayed in bed, but it's too late now. I was unable to go back to sleep and it was a waste of time to try. I feel a little tired, light headed...but am wide awake. Swimming will be fine, running is going to be an effort. Lifting may be dangerous. Sometimes in life, I wake up and it takes a lot of effort to actually get out of bed. I wake up and I lay there and just think about everything. It is very annoying. It serves no purpose!~! I shoulda....damn....it's the past!! Sometimes I wake up and I get up. Make my coffee, maybe toast a croissant and watch the sun come up and everything is good. Even if I feel a little tired.

Come to England, you'll appreciate what you have got Remember, shoulda, woulda, coulda can now be replaced by can and will.

Emilia
Coffee. Lots and lots of coffee. This. I don't have a coffee machine at home so to get my addiction to caffeine satisfied, I have to leave the house. Usually I get up as soon as I wake up, shower, clothes on and get out to get a coffee on the way to work or to start the weekend. A good incentive.

Art_Critic
I don't have any problems getting up cheerful and happy everyday but would say that waking my son up every day, getting him and all of his stuffed animals ready to go downstairs and carrying him with his blanket and his 5 or 6 stuffed animals downstairs to give him his breakfast before I go to work rates pretty high up there on the best time ever spent during my day... Me telling him to have a good day in school and him saying "have a good day at work" That 30 or so mins cannot be bought with money and makes my day everyday... what a great start to my day...
