Popsicle
I was just thinking about OW/OM and wondering if any of you have ever experienced cold feet when your MW/MM starts getting closer to leaving their spouse and wanting to be with you?
Nattie
I'm a MOW, but yes. Talk is cheap, actions can be downright scary.
Waverly
MOW here as well. My affair was short but intense; from the get-go, it was all about "righting a wrong" from years ago and finding a way to be together permanently. Turns out we couldn't, but there were definitely a few moments along the way where I had that moment of "oh sh*t, could I REALLY go through with this??", particularly when we would talk more seriously about everything that would be involved.
QuakerOats
Waverly, my exMM used to say the "righting a wrong" stuff too. Ugh.
Got it
No, not during that time period. I think there were times during S/D that I questioned whether or not this was meeting my needs but no correlation between their decision to leave and getting cold feet.

RickFox
I had an apartment lined up, ready to go, and after all our talks her response was, let me know how that goes. Not what I was expecting.... cold feet? Doubt? Who knows....
Daisy2013
No cold feet. He flat out told me he wasn't leaving his W as long as she was alive, too much trouble involved. He said he loved me and wanted me, but what we had was all we could have, and he understood if I wanted to leave our R.
