M30USA
For any of you prayer warriors out there, could you say a quick one for me? I'm coming up on a major life decision which will affect my career, where I live, and most importantly my children. I really need some guidance. Thanks.

pureinheart
While praying M30 I heard, "manna from heaven". Just to let you know I don't ever think about "manna" in this fashion and in fact had to Googled it to get a deeper meaning- it sounded quite unusual..

I'm coming up on a major life decision which will affect my career, where I live, and most importantly my children. I really need some guidance. Thanks. Hey, how have things progressed? Do you think you got some of the guidance and clarity you were looking for? Don't respond if it's just between you and God . Anyway, I'd like to add myself to the prayer chain as well. I have a big evaluation coming up for my job...eek! Also, please say a quick prayer for one of my family members who has kidney failure (he's very young ).

pie2
So sorry to hear that Pie2!! Hope everything is going okay on that front. Thank you. Yes, everything is as okay as it can be, I guess. Things have been stable these last 6 months, which is better then the downward spiral of the year prior. I just wish things would be even better. I wish there would be some sort of restoration to his kidney functioning. Only God knows. He doesn't live in the US, and doesn't have access to very good medical care, so things can get pretty precarious at times. Thank you to anyone who maybe said a little prayer for him. And same goes for my other thing (it was today)...thank Goodness it's over, and I made it through without too many bumps or bruises (not literally )! What stage is he in, Pie2? Oops, just saw this. I don't know. He's in another country, and I don't think the system is as good as ours. They've done countless ultrasounds (I think), and they just tell him that his kidney's are functioning at like 30% or something. I don't know if that's accurate, or what. It's just really stressful on our whole family because we all have to try to pay for all the medical costs and it's hard to keep up. Edited June 10, 2014 by pie2

Author M30USA
Soooooo, what is the verdict for both you and TFW???? Basically I had two options. Both were equally valid and I never felt so indecisive in my life. Something in my gut told me to wait it out, buy some time. Turns out a week before I was required to make a decision, one of the doors literally was closed. Even though I had been formally accepted to this very place two weeks prior, they called me suddenly to say the CEO had shut down the program! I am so glad I waited and didn't rush my decision. Otherwise I would have put all my eggs in that basket only to be stranded! Thanks for your prayers. A huge weight is off my shoulders.

God is so good and I thank you for sharing this because it gives myself and others insight into God's great love. It's so encouraging to see how He orchestrates circumstances and does guide our paths. Sometimes certain circumstances don't make any sense at all. It's odd (to me) that God has shown Himself more in the workplace (and situations involving the workplace) than in any other. I can't tell you how His timing has blown me away. Times, financially that I didn't know what was going to happen and God totally worked it all out for my good. I'm so glad to hear there has been a release in the Spirit and again, God is so good!
