I am starting therapy via Skype next week and I need the apartment to myself one of the days so I can do the session and my girlfriend starts work late on that day so I am just wondering if I should tell her about it?

It's not something I am proud of so I don't really want to tell her.

What are your thoughts?

I say go ahead and tell her. It's nothing to be ashamed of at all. I much prefer to date people who have been in therapy as they're at least aware of their issues. It's the ones who won't hear of it that you have to be careful about.

It's up to you. If you don't want to share just yet, that's OK. If she does ask what you are doing, tell her the truth though

I have no clue what you are seeking therapy for but...

I don't really understand how you can live together, share your most intimate moments together, you have a problem serious enough to get counselling for and you feel you cannot share it with the woman you live with/are supposed to love?

Either she is blind or you are a very good actor.

I personally would be very hurt if my bf would keep something like that from me and would wonder what we mean to each other if he could not confide in me or include me in his struggles.
