skinut2234
Just wondering what the overall verdict is from the women on bodyhair? (chest/back/etc)- I'm stuck in the middle where I have enough to be annoying I guess- I was thinking of having back/shoulders waxed since it just grows here and there and looks crappy if you ask me-

(chest/back/etc)- I'm stuck in the middle where I have enough to be annoying I guess- I was thinking of having back/shoulders waxed since it just grows here and there and looks crappy if you ask me- I'm pretty sure every woman is different. One woman is grossed out by any body hair and want their man to look like a baby; the other will want more of a rugged look. Do what you want because someone will like it regardless.

Robert Z
Just wondering what the overall verdict is from the women on bodyhair? (chest/back/etc)- I'm stuck in the middle where I have enough to be annoying I guess- I was thinking of having back/shoulders waxed since it just grows here and there and looks crappy if you ask me- It seems to depend largely on age. I've had women in their twenties tell me that to them, waxing or shaving body hair is right up there with brushing your teeth. It is viewed as a normal part of personal hygiene. As the age goes up, the opinions seem to diverge quickly. By the time you get up to women in their 40s, it seems that body hair is generally still preferred. I have a sb in her early twenties so I finally had my back, chest, and stomach waxed. She LOVES it and very much appreciated the effort. To me the key was to go with waxing rather than LASER treatments. After three treatments, LASER is mostly permanent. But with waxing or shaving, at least you can grow it back if desired. If you do it, watch out! Those big pulls on the chest are a killer!!!
awesome0
Dude as a very hairy man myself, who had many self doubts about myself for years about it, it really doesn't matter. I've been with women on both sides of the issue here. But being hairy never has prevented me from being with anyone. When you look in the mirror decide what you see and then determine how to proceed for you, not with the hopes of attracting some one else. And for the record, waxing is as painful as anything you will ever experience lol, just like in the 40 Year Old Virgin
Xemyd
When I was a teenager I was completely grossed out by chest/back hair. I'm in my early twenties now and my recent ex has both chest and back hair and I couldn't care less. It didn't bother me at all. I would have never asked him to get it removed. It's not my place. It's up to you, if you feel uncomfortable with it then by all means go look into getting it removed.

I just had a 40 Year Old Virgin movie visual. Why did you do this, for her? I've have what women say is normal body hair for my age, 47. None on my back, the woman I have dated love the hair on my chest and legs. I keep certain areas trimmed, for me, not for anyone else.

This also depends on the situation. If you are an older guy chasing younger women, the first rule is to never do anything that reminds them of their father. Any gray chest hairs scream - DADDY! Not good.

The 28 and 29 year old I spent time with loved my greying hair. And had they asked me to dye it, change it, I would have said "No". In fact, the 29 year old did not like that I kept my private area trimmed, she preffered more hair "down there". Guess what? I kept it trimmed because I like it that way. Seems your 20 something, well, holds the keys..just sayin. What happens to you, when she disappears?

I'm 32 and my most recent ex was 24, it never came up. In fact she even helped me shave my back at my request not hers lol. And there is one huge upside to lots of body hair. It keeps you and whoever you cuddle with extra warm in the winter
ayala
Depends on you and the girl in question. It's different for every individual. If she loves you just the way you are, she won't care if you're like a gorilla or a hairless cat lol
KaliLove
As long as I'm not getting pubes stuck in my teeth I'm all good. The rest of the body is fine, just keep that area neat and clean.

I'm not beyond doing something she wants. When it ends I can grow it back or not. The "Daddy warning" comes from comments from women, btw. I don't understand why so many men consider it an insult or degrading to be considerate and make an effort the woman appreciates. Edited May 14, 2014 by Robert Z

Michelle ma Belle
I think that if you're in a relationship with someone, it only makes sense to CONSIDER their preferences when it comes to things like body hair. I really hate when men and women feel the need to draw a hard line in the sand and DEMAND that their partners be [whatever]. I see those kinds of demands as being very selfish. That has no place in a relationship in my opinion. At the same time, there is nothing wrong with having preferences. We all have them if we're pushed to reveal them. I think if you're in a loving and respectful and mature relationship, they should be discussed and considered . There is always a compromise around the corner if you looked hard enough. For me, I am a woman that likes hair on my man, facial and/or body. I'm not into Chewbacca style but nicely trimmed is my preference. If I met a guy I really liked who enjoyed being hairless like the day he was born, I'd learn to live with it OR work on finding that compromise I spoke about At the end of the day, I care more about the character of my man than how much body hair he has or not.

Grey hair is what attracts me to a LOT of men! There's this guy I've had a flirt with for years, he's all salt and pepper and sooo yummy! He's only in his mid 30s though. But the grey... hmmm

It *REALLY* irks me that waxing/shaving is considered personal hygiene. It's NOT! It really really isn't. Has nothing to do with hygiene at all. Someone who doesn't wax/shave at all is not one bit less hygienic than the next person who waxes/shaves ALL THE HAIR. As for the actual topic, I don't care at all. I've had it all. No hair, shaved chest/back, a bit of chest hair, a lot of chest hair, a bit of back hair, a lot of back hair, full monkey suit! It I could definitely choose, I'd go for some chest hair (more than just a few hairs around the nipples though!!!) but little back hair. But it honestly makes no difference at all. It has never turned me off, one way or another.

iris219
I love hair on a man's chest and stomach, but would prefer no hair on back and shoulders, at least not a carpet of hair back there. Why are men such wusses about waxing? Seriously, guys, it's not that bad and I've had it done in very delicate places.
