7on
8:36:25 me: Hey hey hey 8:36:29 her: hey hey hey hey 8:36:51 me: were you planning on working on your thumbnails any tonight? 8:36:59 her: i should..but prollynot 8:37:06 her: im burnt out from skool 8:37:15 her: i need to do reading and then im gonna watch a movie wth this boy 8:37:23 me: cool 8:37:31 her: hey maybe tomorrow night we could watch movies and do sketches? 8:37:39 me: indeed 8:37:46 her: i miss you 8:37:52 me: thanks, I miss you too 8:38:11 her: ok i need to do work now 8:38:15 her: talk to you later ok? 8:38:15 me: yes you do 8:38:17 me: ok 8:38:22 her: bye darling 8:38:22 me: peace out Yeah... this girl is soooooo weird. She's watching a movie with "this boy" but she says she misses me and such. This was the girl that we were going to start that FWB thing but she started dating someone before we got together. And she's been all "attentitive" towards me these past few days. Like bringing me green tea since I've been sick and IMing me when I'm away saying "jon I miss you!" and things like that. I'm pretty sure nothing will happen between us - mainly because she's watching a movie with "this boy" so I'm not hung up over that. It's just that she really wants to hang out with me for some reason - which I do find odd... I really want to confront her about this - but I've never actually heard her call another guy darling (or babe which she does quite often say). It could be an IM thing she does with everyone, but since I don't break into her house and steal her AIM logs we'll never know. I really do like her as a friend but I do not want to loose her friendship. Almost thought I did when I asked her out on a date... though NC worked cause she seems to want to talk or meet up a lot. Come to think of it... she's only been talking to me more since I told her that I made out with this girl and started drinking a lot. So she may just be concerned about that. I have no clue. Oh yeah, I believe I had a post somewhere on these forums where I talked about obsessing about her - but I've gotten over that since I've made more female friends. Not that I don't find her attractive anymore - I just don't think about her all the time. I sure don't want to get obsessed about her - but I wouldn't mind her obsessing over me. Oh yeah, btw I was going to ask her first if we could do homework and watch a movie but she beat me to IT!!!!! Oh well... odd situation. Indeed
Magus
Their a pain to live with, but they make life sooo much more interesting. Dude, just keep doing what your doing. If she misses out it's her loss. She wasn't there when you wanted her, n there ain't no comitment. Don't lose sleep over it man. You got more important things to worry about. Like, how are you gonna "bag" that "hottie" you sit behind in trig.
Author 7on
well... in calc behind me sits this geeky looking guy with long thinning blonde hair... so no on that option. Yeah I'm not gonna loose sleep. Because she wasn't totally disgusted at me going into detail on what I think of her and such. So that was a good sign. There's no way she doesn't know that I like her because A) I've mentioned that she's beautiful/sexy multiple times B) I've told her that I thought about her constantly and C) I have asked her out to which she said she was already dating. I do not know if she wants me to make a move or not. Because if she is still dating someone that makes things a little difficult for me because deep down I know that'd make someone be cheating. I don't know. Hopefully she'll offer alcohol. Because that **** is like love potion for me man. I get all over the girls when I'm drunk. Or I get depressed when I don't have a girl to get on. Darkiya
Some women ... especially insecure ones feel better with attention. She wants you to want her, to yearn for her, and to even be a little jealous of her "boy". In fact this "boy" may not even be real or perhaps she's not satisfied with him just yet. She wants you to dote after her because it gives her the confidence that she's a hottie. She may or may not even want to give you any "benefits" she spoke of but leading you on is giving her the rush of being desired. When you started after another girl she got a little jealous--it may not of been a conscious thought but she felt that you would lose interest in her and she wants to gain your attention back. That's my opinion... but a warning that being a woman myself ... we judge other ladies rather harshly.

UCFKevin
Girls are confusing? No kidding! Hey, look! The sky is blue! Water is wet, too! And by God, that dog is barking! Holy CRAP!
Author 7on
Yeah. Her away message does say "out" so that is pretty vague but it's definitely not TV. This is how I'll play it. If anything does happen tomorrow - or later on, I'll ask her out again. If she refuses again, then I'll tell her to stop teasing me by saying that you miss me and stop calling me babe and darling. I just hope I won't lose her friendship if this does go down. She's definitely on my list of top 5 friends and is absolutely my best female friend. We have the same interests and everything. I haven't ran across one thing she liked that I didn't, well other than she smokes and smoking makes me nauseous. Hell, she even told me that if she ever got a bf that didn't like smoking she'd quit - that's how far the teasing went. I may have screwed up when she was talking to me about how much she missed sex and I told her I never had interest in sex until marriage. Well I did, but she got some sort of impression that I was asexual - which I'm not and hopefully cleared up for her. I'm so constantly horny it's crazy - something I never revealed to anyone except on the internet. And she doesn't know that. And she is just as horny as I, that I know of. We'd be perfect together - but she's a tease and unless she can straighten out herself then she obviously doesn't deserve me. I swear, I'd be a perfect husband for any wife. I make my bed, put down the toilet seat, love caring for someone, love making someone feel special. It's just the whole "starting a relationship" I suck at. Oh, and I can not remember one instance where I would argue, except with my parents of course. I'm really agreeable. I know this sounds mostly like arrogance, but it's not. Just telling it how it is. FoShizzleMyNizzle
Save yourself some sanity. Just don't get involved with girls that think relationships is all fun and games.

Author 7on
Yeah, not to mention this other girl I have an interest in apparently was just left heartbroken by the guy she cared for back home. So that opens some windows as well.
Author 7on
UPDATE: Well, she's not dating anyone now. Found that out, when she asked me about my love life. Told her again about that unfortunate event with the girl I made out with and I bought flowers for the girl selling flowers yesterday. Anyway, later on when we were alone, she started talking about her boy problems and how all the guys she are into either want something without commitment or are too clingy. So then I interjected with "Well, I did ask you out once and if you still want to sometime that'll be cool." She answered with Maybe. I'm not too hung up over the maybe answer because she's still "experimenting" with a girl and I'm pretty sure she likes this guy who stopped by - but he's probably one of the non-commital" guys so she wants to see if he'll commit. The boy in AIM was just a friend. Someone she promised she'd show a movie to. Anyway, We gave up homework so I left but as I was leaving an she was giving me a hug I turned my head and kissed her on the check. She didn't seem upset about it - she giggled a bit from it. I just hope I don't find someone else right before she agrees on a date. I'd say we need each other almost. Me motivating her to do her homework and feel good about herself while she gives me attention. There are other stuff too, but I won't dive into that. Thankfully I'm not sucked into it as much as I was before break. I feel it's more about her now than it is about me.
