Smthn_Like_Olivia
I am not a religious person at all, and consider myself to be more spiritual than anything. I do believe in a higher power, but I do not give much credence to organized religion. Anyhow, I work with a man, who several years ago, found his spiritual and religious standing with God. Over the years, he has become a very good friend, mentor, and advisor in both work and personal situations. He is never judgemental and always gives sound advice. I admire him greatly. He holds a considerably high position in my company, yet he is incredibly humble, and will make time to help anyone in need of his assistance. What I have noticed is that, and I'm not kidding about this, he seems to have some sort of spiritual glow or aura surrounding him. I mentioned it to him one day, but he just kind of dismissed it. I never told anyone else until today. I have a fairly new coworker who has recently been introduced to him as well. She told me today how she spent 45 min talking to him about their lives and kids and their similar spiritual backgrounds. So I say to her, "I don't care what anyone says, but if you really look at him, it seems like he -" and before I could even finish she says, "He has a glow or aura surrounding him!" I've never seen this before with anyone. Thoughts? Or anyone that has witnessed something similar?
amaysngrace
He must have a lot of good energy. That's why Jesus is often pictured with a halo/aura. It's the same premise.
M30USA
Is it possible that you are attracted to him and that's why he has a glow?
Smilecharmer
I met the Dalai Lama when I was a girl and I felt the same way. He just had a glow, a real aura and I wasn't attracted to him in any shape or form. It is just a peaceful glow. I just wanted to look at him and be in his presence. It was really humbling.

Author Smthn_Like_Olivia
Is it possible that you are attracted to him and that's why he has a glow? This man is like a father figure. Could my friend also have an attraction?? Its not something that's easy to explain but if you met him, you would understand. Its like his whole being or persona is so clean. pie2
Thoughts? Or anyone that has witnessed something similar? I guess because I'm involved in a church, I feel like many people can have a distinct presence about them. It might not be a visual glow all the time, but many people have a peacefulness about them, or just seem to radiate love and kindness . But a few people in particular had a noticeable glow. It so amazing. What are your co-worker's spiritual beliefs?
todreaminblue
I dont know about auras and colors as such..... i believe i can feel vibrations and that all people can if they tried.......if you walk in on an argument you feel it.....even though nothing has been said or done when you walked in the room you can sense it.......like you sense a negative energy.....a foreboding...tension or discord.........if you walk into a room or a church full of smiles and laughter what do you feel......or if you walk into a room full of bouncing off the walls children same deal ...a high energy vibration.....body language facial expressions tonal qualities of people talking......and you can pick them up and be infected with either happiness and or sadness or tension......empathic qualities that are the gifts from god......i think people can have huge empathic spirits encased in skin if they accept them and develop them.. generations of my family are helpers, have been helpers and will continue to help people and animals...people find us and animals are attracted to us.....going back years of this with my family and it gets passed on............. i have never seen anyone with an aura or colors around them....when i had a dream the night my grandpa died when he told me he had to go and he would see me soon and not to worry ......he had an aura of bright white light...but he had died........he also had all his beautiful dark hair back.......and he wasnt skeletal anymore.... for me i dont see glows.....i haven't seen those auras .i believe others would have been given gifts like this.......and i dont have that gift and i dont think i glow at all....i think people are attracted to me because i have eyes like a freddo frog or kermit from the muppets......open eyes...kermit is always helpful to others....;0)...so yeah they go hey theres kermit in the flesh lets ask her where to go..or she will help us........deb
Candy_Pants
This is something I've always wanted to "see". Others have said my aura is gold and purple, and quite large.
OpenBook
I've witnessed similar, most recently in my pastor at church. It's subtle, but your instincts pick up on something different about them. It's like there's a light behind their eyes. And their skin appears... transparent? Is that the right word? Hard to describe. Fascinating to witness.

Author Smthn_Like_Olivia
Nobody is clean. I don't doubt that he might be special but nobody is clean. I was trying to describe the glow and the impression that it gives. He is not "special" nor "clean". He's just a normal man with a wife and 3 kids that has simply found his inner peace in his faith and lives his life by those beliefs. But when you sit and talk with him, you can feel it, and there is like a subtle light surrounding him.

pie2
What are your co-worker's spiritual beliefs? I'm going to guess Christian. There are talks that the Antichrist will be very persuasive, and many people will be drawn to him. I wonder if he will also have some sort of aura. I bring this up because we can be so easily deceived by outward appearances. Someone may have a nice face, and a peaceful disposition, and maybe have a glow about them (probably eat a nice, oil-rich diet ), but can have a dark heart. All we can do is look at a person's actions and have conversations about their beliefs to discern what really lies in the heart. Based on what's been posted, it sounds like the man you describe has lots of great qualities .

Its hard to even believe or wrap my head around. Oh, that is so awesome. I know all about the transformation, because I've experienced some of it myself. Not to the glowy-aura degree , but I've definitely seen big changes in my life that I can't attribute to anything else but divine intervention.

Its hard to even believe or wrap my head around. Very cool OP! Similar background (though I don't have an aura!). I do think some people's spirit is contagious and can have a sort of tangible presence...Stephen (the first Christian martyr) was described as having the appearance of an angel... And Stephen, full of grace and power, was doing great wonders and signs among the people. Then some of those who belonged to the synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called), and of the Cyrenians, and of the Alexandrians, and of those from Cilicia and Asia, rose up and disputed with Stephen. But they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he was speaking. Then they secretly instigated men who said, “We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.” And they stirred up the people and the elders and the scribes, and they came upon him and seized him and brought him before the council, and they set up false witnesses who said, “This man never ceases to speak words against this holy place and the law, for we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and will change the customs that Moses delivered to us.” And gazing at him, all who sat in the council saw that his face was like the face of an angel.
