How do u guys deal with compliments ?

Recommended Posts

Usually when I approach a girl in bars, I don't even compliment them lately. I have almost zero girl experience with girls, but I could compliment them, and I WANT TO compliment them if I like them, but I don't, its not like approach anxiety.

1)I figure she hears it all the time and also that she should know she's pretty/beautiful if I think she is. (I don't lie to girls I find mediocre or unattractive)

2)I just figure I'll scare them off, come across as typical nice guy

Now if I got to talk more than a few minutes I probably would. My smile when looking at them sure should indicate I like her look. idk ???

You should do your best to make the compliment genuine and specific. You're right, saying a girl is pretty/cute/beautiful/general overused adjective is fine and totally viable, but you should always try to make an effort to specify what it is that makes her so _______, if you can. It helps you stand out from the other guys. But complementing is actually important because it's what helps set the tone of the relationship (platonic vs. romantic) so you want to do it early on.

You should check out his channel; he has some great advice (and also in one of his videos will be a link to the site you can get his free ebook from). Seriously though, I have learned a lot from him and I strongly recommend you check out his videos. Also, Stephan Erdman.
