Tressugar
I really believe that in this case is simply an animal protecting its property. I think if the incident took place outside of the parameters of the house the cat wouldn't have even bothered.
Charlie Harper
Yes happens often. Animals do not have soul but the soul of a dear one or an angel can inhabit a pet. Don't ask me how I know this but its a fact. changes your vies towards animals
lollipopspot
I don't see why you need to conjure an angel or some other spirit to explain this. Some cats are protective of their guardians. I have one of those cats. Animals aren't automatons. They're thinking, feeling beings with individual personalities. This one saw need to protect his/her buddy.

I think if the incident took place outside of the parameters of the house the cat wouldn't have even bothered. It is highly unusual for a cat to attack a vicious dog who is actually attacking, the cat was actually scared....it ran and hid after wasnt defending property or it would have jauntily walked back it was protecting the child and it was scared crapless............ but did it anyway......cats are aloof creatures who if it doesn't directly affect them, they don't get involved......humans are cat guardians and dogs are human guardians........that cat became a human guardian.....its out of sync so unusual.....brave cat......it would have known the dog could kill it, maybe god whispered in its ear...only wild cats would attack a vicious dog that was five or maybe even ten times it size.....that cat is not wild.......deb

That's the first thing my mind went to, the Scripture about Jesus casting the demons out of the man and into the swine. Haydn
Yes just last week i saw an Elephant daub a swastika across someones front door. Where do they get it from? Joking aside, the cat did not like the dog, like most cats. Came into its area, nature did the rest. todreaminblue
Seriously. It makes me wonder if the dog would have killed the boy had the cat not pounced him. the dog stalked the boy if you watch the beginning of the video you see the dog lower his head on the other side of the car ....the dog was a predator and hunted the child........... so yes i believe that particular dog would have killed the child...the dog went for the legs to bring the child to ground......classic move to take out the legs so the prey cant run......deb

I've had a lot of cats in my day and have never seen this type of thing. LOL, I do want to share one thing about a cat I had. If I did anything that my cat found distasteful, meaning if I did anything she didn't like, she would open my drawers (they were underneath my bed and very hard to open) and toss all of the contents out. That was so funny. Seriously. It makes me wonder if the dog would have killed the boy had the cat not pounced him. It looked as if that was the dogs intentions:( I didn't see the video you provided due to seeing it yesterday, so I'm not sure if yours showed the boys injuries….the boys leg was torn up pretty bad. Anela
Anything living has a soul. It always gets me when people say that animals don't have souls. My cat, Dennis, threw his paws up at what turned out to be a very sweet dog. He put his paws on his chest, as though he was making him back off. Mum was impressed, and still mentions it. I don't think that it has to be a pet protective of a guardian, though. There have been news stories of animals protecting children - my dog Lizzie, stood between a little girl, and a large boy who was swinging a branch around. She growled at him, and had pushed the girl to the ground (out of the way). Even a predator making sure that a baby animal was okay, after it had killed its mother.

Haydn
I owned a cat when i was a student. `Marlon Brando`. He was an abject coward but a lovely TV companion. I don`t believe in souls so i guess that is where i will differ. But i was pleased to see that the boy was ok.

Author M30USA
What made this story unusual wasn't just the cat alone. The whole scene was strange. This stray dog just decides to attack a boy. The boy just happened to be autistic. And the cat acting like Hulk was just the final icing. Weird scene all around. If you watch some of the surveillance video (not on news) you actually see the cat return to check on the boy after she chased the dog away.

It's hilarious how, after the cat pounced the dog, it landed solidly on the ground with such poise and looked around as if to say, "WHAT!" Your "gypsy" status could be due to your anointing. I've found that if I stay in one place too long, which mostly had to do with the area I worked in within the company, churches and other things, the battle would get so hard and heavy that eventually all of hell broke lose (sp?). Most don't understand this, especially concerning the church thing due to the term here in the US called "church hoppers"… it's considered a very negative thing not to stay in one particular church- oh well, I'm living it and it is fact for me. You know, I'm sure God is cool with "big" accomplishments, although I have to wonder if it isn't the little things that make the most difference. It's always been the small things that have been life transforming. You hang in there too Sister! Rock on girl! It's hilarious how, after the cat pounced the dog, it landed solidly on the ground with such poise and looked around as if to say, "WHAT!" The first thing that popped into my mind after viewing this video was- we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. God as of late has been showing me the impossible, so this video fell right into place. Yes it is a cat confronting a dog who basically saves a child. What I saw was a cat who had no limitations and is not held down by the norm. Off topic a bit- I recently saw a teaching where the teacher said that some of us may be quite embarrassed when we see how much power we actually had and didn't use it. Like Deb said there is so much hopelessness out there now. I see a great deal of this in the Body (of Christ). If we really knew the power we possess possibly we could move mountains? If you watch some of the surveillance video (not on news) you actually see the cat return to check on the boy after she chased the dog away. The dog was an 8 month old guard dog for the neighbor, it got out the gate. The owner of the dog was leaving or entering their driveway, saw the attack and called 911. It was a mix of chow and lab. The parents of the boy are not upset with their neighbor and the neighbor is not upset with them.
