pteromom
I appreciate this, and I think you're right. I put up an OKC profile. I don't do POF, and besides I've heard it's horrible. I also have a Youtube, Instapaper, Instagram, Facebook, Google Plus, and Twitter. So I guess I'm everywhere. LOL. That's good! Use your social media channels to advertise that you are looking too! You live in a world of people just itching to make something go "viral"... and you have a great opportunity to really get out there in a way that a dating profile can't accomplish. preraph
I agree with tapping the disability sites because there are so many nice people who share your same problem of people feeling awkward around them. It would help widen your social circle at least and you never know who you might meet that way.
Targetlock
As a person with a disability (mild learning disability) though not to the degree of yours I salute you good man and keep on fighting, you define you not your disability and I wish you the best of luck.

It would help widen your social circle at least and you never know who you might meet that way. I've looked at all the "blind dating websites", and I'm not sure how I feel about them. I almost feel like it would be limiting my options as to who is out there. Sure, other blind people can relate, but I feel like a website for blind people is really limiting my possibilities. I don't know. Maybe it's just me.
