Recommended Posts

I had to go read your first post.

Honey, you need to put your big girl panties on and pray this man stays silent. Who cares what it means.

well everytime i ever reeled in a girl and left her hanging was because i was spending time with the one i actually wanted to be with. the silence was just me acting like i didnt have my phone or i was away from the computer. but when the girl who i actually liked got into a fight with me, id be texting the girls on the side. im guessing he has made his primary girl(you) a side girl now. because he has probably met a girl who is way out of his league, not trying to scare you. bit i did this when i was young and immature, 16ish, if he is doing this then dont waste your time. find someone better and when he comes back. hell be coming back to nothing because you will be gone

Whatever the reasons or motivation, the relationship was over. Let him go & be happy he's gone.

Why breakup with you when he can keep you on the shelf until he needs you again?

I could see making a concession for the first time; maybe it was cold feet or he was making a mistake.

But he has done this to you three times and your only question is why doesn't he break it off? Why don't you break it off? The man is not reliable and he's rather careless with your heart. You need trust in a relationship for it to be good, how can you trust a person who is reckless with your heart?

Another poster mentioned you need to place more value in yourself and I'll second, third, fourth, and fifth that.

If you let him treat you like that, imagine marrying this guy.....holy smokes... from experience..it gets worse.

4 year relationship, no breakups. Then, terrible sideswipe breakup in January. 45 days of no contact I think it was, called him and we got back together...albeit he hid that from his family....continually said how much he'd missed me, loved me, knew that we were special. But also continually said I had to get better, and I can tell you I don't know better at what. Two other vanishing acts since we started seeing each other again....and then a week ago he went missing on me. Locked me out of his house, blocked me on his phone, no explanation.

I'm crushed. I feel horrible. I have always been able to text him or call him and get him to respond. This time nothing. Everything was going fine I guess....I love you's and no fighting. It's crazy. He just vanished.

Why am I sobbing? A week later and I have missed 5 days of work......I'm going to get fired. I'm not ok. Not at all. I just want to talk to him....and there's no way. Went to his house.......he didn't answer the door. Ugh, anyone been through this?

Woke up sweating with chills, crying and sick. I can't do this again. He promised me I didn't have to worry when we got back together. He promised it would be okay. I'm shattered. I feel like I'm going to die.

You're not going to die. You just feel like you are.

However, you need to stop trying to get addicted to your current emotions and listen to the pain.

You can't heal yourself from the very thing that is causing you pain.

What does this guy have that others don't that make you want to stay with him?

You're just going through withdrawal stages

We've all been through it. All of us.

Remember, he's a cigarette that's going to kill you if you don't stop smoking him.

But the nicotine cravings are there.

You're in medicine, right?

Then why don't you treat this like an addiction?

Curb your cravings.
