wjh
What do you guys feel if the person you're dating tries to correct your way of kissing? It was during our second date, we kissed for the first time. I didn't want to at first, but that's not point, but what happened was that he pointed out to me, saying that, "hey, you don't do it like that"-- and showed me a very wet way of doing it (not all "wet kisses" are "french kisses", aren't they? I'm thinking some ways are just bad and yuckily gross... (?) ). Like, he said I'm supposed to always stick my tongue very far out so that he can suck on it or something? And when you need to take a breath, you should turn your head so that you can catch some air???? Hey, good kissers out there, or just all of you who kissed before---- Is there one good way, or like a better way to kiss????? I dated like many guys, and none of them said what I did was "wrong". I guess maybe those that I dated before didn't like the wet & violent way of doing it either? I mean, we used our tongue and all, but not like that... or at least there is NO ONE way that is better... In fact, with some of them, we just like the gentle kisses on the lips, and some tongue, and alter the speed etc., it can feel really romantic that way too sometimes ... By the way, was he rude to have the guts to tell me I was "wrong" in kissing just so early on our second date?
moimeme
not all "wet kisses" are "french kisses", aren't they? Yup. Once the mouths are open, the language changes Like, he said I'm supposed to always stick my tongue very far out so that he can suck on it or something? And when you need to take a breath, you should turn your head so that you can catch some air???? Apparently he has decided that 'his' method is 'the' method everyone should use. Sounds boring and unpleasant to me. In fact, with some of them, we just like the gentle kisses on the lips, and some tongue, and alter the speed etc., it can feel really romantic that way too sometimes Of course! There isn't one way to kiss!!! And this winner is the same guy who tried to force your clothes off? Sounds controlling and probably terrible in the sack. I don't care how much 'chemistry' you have; that's just Nature trying to get you to make babies. Ditch this drip.
Author wjh
Yeah, no, of course not, he's almost out of picture! (... or already!...) he's just some guy I went out to dinner twice... Those other kisses from before that I felt was more romantic or nicer wasn't with him,... eww, hell no! So just a general survey, i don't know if this is a too private or no-true-answer-'cos-all-is-spontaneity question, but just wondering what kind of kiss do you guys like? (e.g. for me, as I said earlier, generally I prefer those not as wet & more gentle romantic kisses, those violent ones... hmmm ... maybe only in the bedroom! )
echoparkdude
there is a kiss in the physical sense and there is a kiss as an expression of what you feel. just like there is sex because you're horny and there's sex as an expression of how you feel. i, personally, like kissing as an expression. To me, then, a good kisser is one that can express successfully what they feel for you through their kiss. Telling a person how to kiss is just rude and egoistic. It's like telling a person what's the right way to paint or write poetry. What's right is what the person determines to express them the most.
roxy_1980
Telling someone how to kiss is only acceptable under the age of about 15 and only if it's one of their first kisses. As for that guy's perferred techniques, it retarded! You can't just stick out you're tongue and let him suck on it. That's not a kiss. Coming up for air, in my opinion, should be done by gently pulling back and breaking the lip lock then taking a breath. Turning your head is used more for not wanting to kiss someone. Although, myself I am a fan of the wet kiss, it is more of a dance of the tongues rather than just putting in his mouth and leaving it there. That guy has some ego issue and I think you should turn the tables on him and tell him that his teachnique is not really the most acceptable one, not you.
