This, this right here, is why many, many women (and men) go down the "fading out" route instead of just outright saying "sorry, you didn't do it for me".

 

No matter what you do, somehow, you're still leading them on.

I read the email. It was a fun but dramatic read. The guy does have legitimate concerns, especially why the woman never responded back to him if they had chemistry, but the way the guy handled it, with a really long, wordy email, was bad form. And he went on a rant about how he is a good pick for making that money and interest in classical music. Sounds very uptight and snobbish.

 

Of course once he mentioned NY Philharmonic, I realized I'm surrounded by crazies in NYC, and this email just confirms it.
