Anyway, so I have a friend - a pretty good friend. She's my neighbor . She's very hot. Face:10, Body:10...but i have zero interest in her. It's crazy for me to say this because she's REALLY hot, but I would not hook up with her. ever. to be clear, i do not flirt with her in any way. I try REALLY hard to basically treat her like a dude. I would never date someone i wasn't simultaneously VERY attracted to physically but at the same time I would never date someone just because they are hot. I just can't get into it unless there's chemistry, spark, intellectual osmosis. The hotness starts the conversation, but after that if there's nothing more, i just can't pretend to care to get laid. i move on. So we go out for drinks this week. It's supposed to be one, it turns into more. I get a tipsy and am my usual social butterfly self with the women there. i pay minimal attention to the girl i came with, not by design, but i met a girl that i was enjoying talking to. The following day, I'm at a party that she coincidentally is at. She tells everyone there, with me present, that I tried to convince her that I'm the best guy ever, she should be with me and I really want her last night.. i kept my cool on the exterior, but i was pissed. She tried to play it like I was drunk and didn't remember. It didn't happen, zero percent chance, my memory is crystal clear. I had a minor buzz...that's it. I adamantly denied it. I wanted so badly to say that i wouldn't have sex with her if my life depended on it (actually that's the nicer version) She's a nice person, but there are many things i strongly dislike about her personality for a relationship. I'm just annoyed. She's already ridiculously intimidating to other women because she's so hot, and follows me around whenever she sees me. i really didn't need that **** in front of half of the people i know on this planet, including 1 that i have been dating on and off. What is this? Jealousy? Crazy? She's mad because she's hot and most guys want her but I don't? I have REALLY been blowing her off since this situation. She asked me to hangout with her yesterday and I said I was busy and she literally stormed off...like a 5 year old. I have made it really clear that I'm not interested without telling her. I have said we're just friends, but i never have been mean about it. I never hit on her, i don't call her, text her, or ask her to do things. It's all from her. 100 percent of the time. She could be used to getting a lot of attention and the guys scrambling to get to know her, and then you show up, lo and behold!, more interested in other girls. So I guess she now resorts to manipulation and mind games to get what she want - your attention. But... it doesnt mean she likes you. She may just want an ego boost. Zero percent chance anything would ever happen btw her and I but you are probably right, wants my attn and can't have it. she has guys hit on her like all day long. it's almost comical. i saw her today after having a pretty fun night out last night and she was all offended that I didn't ask her to come with me. (because she is, forgive the term, the biggest cockblock ever)...so flirty with me that other women run. she got all pouty, why don't you ever invite me to go out with you. i said that sometimes you need to divide and conquer hahaha. this probably sounds like 'not that big of deal' but she's everywhere i go. we have too many social overlaps for me to avoid. which i basically have been doing, since she lied at that party. kinda feels like a if she can't have me than no one can....it's definitely jealous behavior of some sort, and she's so inserted into so many facets of my life that it's a nuisance. interesting that you bring up wanting a doormat. I didn't really see it like that, but i think that personifies most of what i don't like about her personality. I like a independent non-needy women, BUT, in a relationship, dating, I'm the alpha and that's it. And i see how she manipulates other guys, and it's pretty pathetic how they fall for it hook line and sinker. She's ultra needy, which makes guys do all sorts of 'nice' doormattish things for her.
