Broncos38
Well, yesterday me and fiancée went for a hike and we're having a great time and it was only 73 degrees out and then about an hour later I was talking to her and then she wasn't talking to me. But then I turned around I saw my fiancée having a generalized tonic seizure. Her head was turned in the right direction and then her right arm was up and straight and was paused then I was trying to get her response but then I went to her I put my arms around her to gently while she was falling down and putting her on the ground she was having this. But she told me she hasn't had this since 2004. But she had a starring seizure last May. But she's been taking medications everyday and she has a vns put in 2009. But for the past year my fiancée's mom was stressing her out while living at home. And now everytime we go over to my parents house she gets stressed out from my dad and he put her on this payee program and she's flustered as to why she's on it to begin with and her doctors never said she was required to have a a payee to begin with til my dad involved with everything especially finding that apartment while my dad was my payee. My dad is telling us it's not my fault the way things are.
ja123
What is a "payee"? What country has "payees"?
Tayla
Ja123, the payee is appointed by an administrative judge for persons who are on social disability or social security. They monitor and are responsible for managing the sums provided thru the program. They pay the bills from the allocated funds. Its extremely unlikely that the father of the Op is legally the payee to a Non relative. There would need to be guardianship of some sorts for this to be allowed. And based on what i gather this lady has her own family that the judge would consider before allowing this guys family to intercede on her benefits and manage them. Something just does not sit well.
