Maxtc97 Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 So ive been dating my best friend for a few months , and we were bestfriends for 5 years before turning into couple (yey) the problem is , i still treat her like I used to , but just with a lot of intimacy.Should i get out of the best-friend zone and treat her more like a lady instead of my best friend ? She does seem comfortable with me in this bestfriend-girlfrend zone , but is it really good for our relationship ?
DitzyPanda Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 Well, if you think about it, whoever you're planning to be with for the long term should be your best friend. I went through the same thing and the best advice I could give you is this; if she's not complaining about it, don't change anything. I'm not really sure how to treat her like a "lady", all I know is how treat her like more than JUST a friend. I try to act like the proper gentleman when I'm around her family or if we're in public, otherwise I stay the same (especially around her family; I can't afford to mess up not once).
