Woggle
Of course I notice it but at the end of the day they are human and they bleed red like anybody else and I treat them as such.
nofeelings22
Honestly, I don't remember the last time I've seen a really, really attractive person. How often do most people see model hot people? Nearly every day. And the people I see and date/hook up with are usually hotter (to my tastes) than your run of the mill Victoria's Secret model. There are exceptionally attractive people everywhere. Like one in every 1000 or so.
GoodOnPaper
Honestly, I don't remember the last time I've seen a really, really attractive person. How often do most people see model hot people? I'm sure it's highly variable depending on where you live. I see one maybe in a year or two -- and that's exactly how I like it -- but I live in a small city in a rural area, very family-oriented. A lot of LSers live in large metropolitan cities like NYC, LA, London -- you many run across several every day there.
2.50 a gallon
I was fortunate in that I was able to date many beautiful women. And I repeat, most of them did not see themselves as being all that pretty. One of the most beautiful women that I ever knew was a co-worker. I was 40 and she but 22. She had some college and could have taken a much better paying job, but wanted to learn how to drive a fork lift, so took a job in our warehouse. I don't think she ever realized it was her good looks that got her hired, to do a job she had no experience with. Watching her receive deliveries was a kick. Most truckers had electric powered dollies, but would quickly grab out non powered shop dolly and flex their muscles bringing the skids into the shop. She thought them to be funny. I met one of her former BF's one time. She was 5' 10", and he barely 5' 6" and rolly polly and not very good looking. She was a down to earth gal, her favorite song was "Santa Claus is coming to Town" and later "Grandma Got Ran over by a Reindeer", both of which she hummed or sang quite often while working. I was still in the club scene at that time and we went out several times. Just as friends to have a good time. It was a kick, as where ever she went, almost all of the male eyes where watching her every move. And more than once I saw some guys GF elbow him in the ribs for just gawking when she walked by
MrRightNow
I think most people are fazed by good-looking people. It's hard not to be. Even good-looking kids are favored over more homely ones. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/05/03/health/03ugly.html

My son once told me, I always get 2 hotdogs at school and guess what, all my friends just get one...I did not know...!
Ruby Slippers
My last boyfriend was exceptionally good-looking, and I was always amazed by how much attention both women and men lavished on him because of it. Women got swoony around him, and men wanted to be his friend and follow him. I definitely experienced "the halo effect" when we met - though I think it had to do with more than just his looks. I've gone on dates with very hot guys before who didn't do much for me, because they didn't have a lot going for them besides being hot. But he was the whole package - outrageously handsome, exceptionally intelligent, hard-working and accomplished in his career, insightful, with many sterling qualities. And we connected on many levels and cracked each other open in some important ways. I know that he'll be a great success in whatever he does, and I know that his looks will be a significant factor in that. One of my biggest gripes about him was that he's vain and arrogant (though he hid that really well in the beginning). I think it's really unfair that he will unquestionably continue to get special perks, shortcuts, and advantages simply because of the face and body he was born with. I hope that with maturity he will learn more humility and grace, and do some good with the lucky hand he was dealt.
