Does my FWB have feelings for me?

Recommended Posts

I usually meet up with my FWB every week, so he texted me last week to see if I wanted to come over-since it was almost 9pm, I told him that it will be awhile because I have to put on some make-up, he replied, "You look good without make-up, you don't need to get all pretty for me, I don't judge." I'm like ok..thanks, I won't wear any this time, and he replied, "I'm sure I won't notice the difference at all!" I thought that was very sweet of him to say...

He might or he might not, his comments about you wearing makeup have nothing to do with it. I wouldn't read a thing into it.

Guys mostly like the naturalness of a lady. Yes it was nice of him.

He is fwb though so that pretty much tells you his level of thinking is linear.

Are you both shy or simply in the habit of primal facilitating? Curious as i try to grasp such mindset to understand what is the goal for fwbs?

He already wanted you to come over early, he was probably horny and didn't want to wait for you to put on your face.

The real question is, do you have feelings for your FWB? I think I know the answer. I don't know why women keep thinking FWB works for us???

Lol, being a woman, it really is amusing to see a clear example of why some men think women are too complicated/emotional etc. He simply said you look good without makeup.

How you turned that into someone having feelings for you, I'll never know - and I'm a woman!!! :|

Oh Boy! I just realized that he was just giving me a compliment and that it probably doesn't have anything to do with his feelings, or if he was any feelings for me! Kind of silly how I made a post about this!

Because sometimes it does. I've had several successful FWB that lasted for anywhere from a few months to a few years and that naturally faded for one reason or another.

In those cases no feelings were involved at all! Or rather... there were some feelings... of attraction and friendship. Not of love, or of wanting it to progress to anything other than what it was.

Though I will say, that those successful FWBs I've had were so because there was a fair amount of "distance" involved. Not necessarily geographical, but it was never a case of hanging out all the time, and almost never involved sleepovers and/or cuddling. It was mostly meeting for drinks or food, catching up on life, do the deed and then go our own way.

He was horny, and simply didn't want to wait for you to put makeup on. He wanted to have sex, and he wanted it asap.
