i want to leave

i really need help. My step mom is one of the worst people ever. I want to go live with my grandmother but i dont understand how to tell my dad. It would hurt him really bad. I already know that i need to get him alone and ask him but how am i supposed to. I had to leave him before because of my step mom but i didnt inform him. At the time my real mom was still alive and she came to pick me up. i was living with my grandmother after my mom died. then i went to my uncles house and after that i had to go to my dads because i didnt tell him no. I just really need to get away from them. I just dont know if my grandmother will take me back. Im really sorry i left them but im even sorry because she was right when she said i wouldnt like to stay with my dad. it hurt her really bad but it will hurt my dad if i leave. I want to be part of his life but i dont want to be around his wife. Any thing i choose its going to hurt someone. What do I do. how do i get my dad alone and talk to him. ive thought about just running away but that wont help anything. i almost turned suicidal until i realized what i was going to through away i just need some help any way it goes

Are you saying you have no time alone with your dad?

 

What is your stepmom doing that is making it so difficult to live there?

There's nothing wrong with you simply walking up to your Dad and asking him if you two can talk alone. As a matter of fact, it'll make him feel important and he would honor the opportunity. Even if your step mom is in ear shot, it's none of her business what you want to share with your dad.

 

Hopefully, your father will deal with it in such a way that he can settle things down a bit, and maybe you won't have to move out after all. Just do it, walk up to him, and ask him to talk to you in private!
