d0nnivain
I would interpret it to mean they had sex but he views it as innocent because it was consentual even though he did not have feelings for her.
WhiskeyJack
He came out when with the above quote? Did you ask him about it or something? Its kinda hard to answer something when your as vague as vague could be.

I got with this guy 4 months ago. he said that this girl was just a friend and an ex girlfriend of three years ago. my problem i have is that this happened in the the first three weeks of our relationship. when he had already slept with me. At the beginning of our relationship he would mention her name alot and i asked if he was hung up on her and he said no. anyway cut a long story short, he asked me the otherday whether i had seen my friend who gave me info on her, i said no and then he said nothing really happened, i questioned this and his reply was it was all innocent, i dont think so. he apparantly told her that he had starting seeing me three weeks into our relationship. also i do know that she visited his flat the week i started seeing him. Its kinda hard to answer something when your as vague as vague could be. he asked me if i had seen the person who gave me info on his ex of three years ago. there were still friends and in contact when we got together. so much so i got together with him on 23rd of february this year. i know she vivisted him the first week we got together. my problem is stupidly i slept with him on the first date. Anyway somebody i know gave me info on her. my bf asked me if i had seen this person lateley, i said no. then he said "nothing really happened" i questioned this and his reply was "it was all innocent" i should of asked what was innocent. It's all super cryptic .. and for a new relationship, it's already full of some kind of drama. I second what someone else said, I got stuck on the "really". It probably meant a kiss, a bj, etc.. Anyway, without trust, there is not healthy relationship. If you can't trust him, justifiably or not, move on.
