Aggghh, I hate being "the jerk"

I realized something, long ago. I'm not a jerk, but I have felt the need to be one, esp in the beginning if things were iffy.

I always get iffy. Girls hate that. They hate when the guy is all "on the fence" with them. I'm always on the fence. My first Ex's wasn't, those I was just "young and didn't know" so I took what came. Like a kid getting a bike. I did not care what color it was. It's a bike. F*** Yeah. I'm happy.

only later on, after so many, do I start thinking, Dammit. I wanted the aqua blue with glittery tint.

That happens. People get picky the more they had. It's called age, dating, and being someone who just falls into that type who has to go through a lot of returned bikes.

It's not always that something is wrong with the bike. Maybe, I just decided a ten speed wasn't what I needed.

Or maybe it was. But I returned it already. Damn. Well, get another one??

There is no rules. Except fear. Fear, because, a bike won't get mad. She will.

She is not a bike. But she should be a bike. If she thought like a bike, she'd probably be a lot happier and have more success.

But she has "feelings", and so do we. But, as the buyer of the bike, to be honest, I only "feel" I want a bike that makes me not have to ever "think" of bikes again.

I can't explain why, or give details, but if that bike is just so "made for me", then I no longer need to think of which bike has the thing it's missing.

Maybe owning or running a bike shop would work for you. Then you would have access to a lot of them, new tyres too. And pumps. Lots of pumps.
