Didn't meet any women I'd want to date, but at least 3 of them were flirting with me (it was so obvious even I could tell). And this was just my 1st time with this group! Needless to say I'm not leaving this group any time soon. Which is good, because I've been kicked out of a bunch of other groups which are all run by these 3 guys. What happened was I joined and went to a couple of their meetups, only to find out they were all just boring bar meets. Those 3 guys are very hung up on how many stars people give their meetups. I gave them only one, and they promptly banned me. No big loss though... as you can tell from the 1st paragraph above... 2 Link to post Share on other sites

If it's the same people all the time, it will probably get boring too, especially if you are hoping to find someone to date. These women were flirting because you're fresh meat, and apparently not unattractive. Author Disillusioned Posted July 7, 2014 Author Share Posted July 7, 2014 Well, there are pros and cons... just as nobody wants to date a midget, I'm living proof that few women want to date a giant, either, unless it's for purely novelty. Even more true if the giant doesn't know how to flirt, doesn't like alcohol, and doesn't approach. A huge pro however is that I'm studying to become self-employed, and a man with ambition seems to be a big turn-on to women... much more so than guys who work for someone else and come home every day to do nothing but watch TV and guzzle p1$$y beer. A minor turn-on is that I'm still getting my living space organized... you wouldn't believe the amount of crap I don't need, that I've been getting rid of... Link to post Share on other sites

Don't try to rationalize things, just go with it. Sure, some women and maybe lots of women wouldn't run for a particularly tall guy, but plenty of them wouldn't write you off totally for it. I don't believe that. Obviously some of these girls didn't mind. Stick around in this group, and see if there are any newcomers who catch your eye. Don't be surprised, from the sounds of how desperate the regulars sound when it comes to "fresh meat", to find that new members are few and far in-between for whatever reason. I would also at least try to get to know some of the flirtier women before dismissing them all. Maybe one of them'll grow on you, and you'll find them attractive. Not everyone can become their own boss. You write books, right? That's awesome, really. I'm an artist myself. But lots of arguably timeless artists die penniless, even today.
