Els
Are you thinking of canned coconut milk rather than the type sold in aseptic conners and used in the same manner as soy/almond/rice milk? Neither, I'm referring to the type where you see the guy grind it straight from the coconut.
thefooloftheyear
I've tried almond milk and soy milk - both taste terrible to me. It isn't just because I'm used to cow's milk either - soy milk was actually more common where I come from and my mother constantly tried to feed it to me as a kid. God it was awful. I do like goat's milk, but not much chance of getting that on a regular basis. Coconut milk (also known as santan) is not an alternative to milk IMO. It has a very rich taste and is high in saturated fat, much higher than cow's milk. It's excellent for use in curries, which is its primary use in Asia. I love it, but it's extremely calorie dense. Coconut milk - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Interesting.... I have been occasionally putting a splash of coconut flavored almond milk in my skim to give it some taste and a bit of body...Dont always do it, but its a welcome change when I have it on hand.. Tayken
Anything zero sugar or low sugar is good for the body......eliminate it and you will see the body slim down. Follow it up with low carbs, more greens, and low sugar fruits Then exercise...am not talking walking the dog here, or leisurely walk on the treadmill...am talking serious exercise that makes you sweat I actually have the Vanilla flavoured Almond milk in my fridge right now :-)
Imported
I just heated up some skim milk in a tiny pot and made hot cocoa. It was so good! I might just have to have another What's really cool is that it's raining and thundering where I am right now and I was like, 'I wish I had some hot cocoa'. But I was sure I didn't . But I checked my bag of snack food I carry with me on trips and I had two fricken packages of Star Bucks mocha mix!!! Life is good. Edited August 8, 2014 by Imported
