How should I approach this?

I'm going to keep this simple and to the point...I was out with some friends in the middle of the week last week at a bar and happened to meet and talk to a nice girl who showed many signs of liking me or finding me attractive. It was great, I liked her and I found her to be very attractive as well and it really seemed like we hit it off great. I wound up hanging out with her the whole night, the whole night was fun, and spent the night at her place. I did get her phone number when I met her. I tried to call her on Saturday because I felt if I were to wait until Sunday it would be too many days after the day I first met her. She didn't answer, but texted back saying she's out of town. I texted back saying okay just wanted to see if you wanted to hang out, then she texted back saying that later on she has other plans with family.

 

 

I really would like to contact her tonight, my question is, should I call or text? This might sound like a crazy or silly question, but the thing is, I actually want to talk to her more and get to know her more, and maybe see if she wants to hang out some other time or maybe even ask her out. Me personally, I'd much rather call a girl than text her, because texting doesn't really let you have a real convo like calling does other than just shooting meaningless few-word messages back and forth. I can't think of anything too interesting I could say through a text either. What I'm wondering though is what if she doesn't answer when I call her, and doesn't text back, should I text her saying hey just wanted to talk? Thanks.

I'm a big believer in call but since in response to your call, this woman texted you back, text. But say something like hope you had a good time on your trip. When would it be convenient for me to call you? I'm not a big fan of texting.
