Cut a long story short, you meet someone and they ask for your number, you get on really well together, both enjoy each others company, have a really good laugh and so much in common until... ... they become very distant, don't answer your txt messages, try and avoid sitting next to you etc. It's obvious we both like each other. They can't be shy because they asked approached you in the first place or could they?... CONFUSED!!!! However, even more confusing... been doing some research into body language. In the corner of my eye I see him looking at me and I pretend I don't know. Sometimes I catch him looking at me, then he quickly looks away and other times he keeps looking (staring almost) I look away because I feel awkward because we are in the 'just friends category' and look back and he's still looking? Ahhhh! This means he's interested doesn't it?... HELP Me!!! I am going insane. Link to post Share on other sites

It isn't just "on" or "off", but you can have a 50% level where there's confusion. Maybe he is summoning up the confidence, so it's a temporary phenomenon. Or maybe it's something about you that you can't change - guy friend of mine wanted a blond, so hesitated over an absolutely perfect raven-haired girl (I thought he was an idiot and told him so But he decided against the girl). Either way, don't over-analyse it. Be bright, breezy, friendly. When you see him, go say hi and chat for 5 minutes, then zip off to the next bit of fun in your fun-filled life. One time invite him for something light and fun like lunch or a coffee. If he responds, fine. Otherwise.... next! Link to post Share on other sites
