billy2000
There's alot of word of faith teachings out there or beliefs that a person's attitude has the power to a certain extent to contribute to the healing of a physical body or contribute to making a disease worse. What are your thoughts on this? If a person who has cancer has lost the will to fight for their life and they have a secret death wish then does that mean they are more likely to get their wish to die? I have cancer and for many years even before the diagnosis I've had a secret death wish. I feel that now that I have cancer this is my chance to exit this world. I do not want to be cured of it. What are the chances I'm going to get my wish with this attitude? I feel like if I really want the cancer to do the job of killing me then it will happen in just a matter of time. I don't want to commit suicide because that would be more disturbing to people that I leave behind. It is better that they don't know about my secret death wish and let them believe I was murdered by cancer.

ebor
I am concerned about what your plans are after you ''exit this world''?
Author billy2000
My plans are to fly around in the heavenly realms. Some of my close relatives who have passed on are waiting for me on the other side to pick me up at the heavenly airport. But thanks for not answering my question. I suspect the cancer episode is kind of an answered prayer from God. He said ok you've had a death wish for a long time and since you aren't determined to live this life to the fullest like I called you to do so I will go ahead and make arrangements for your transfer out of here. Basically I have prayed for a long time pleading with The Lord for a transfer and now I'm going to get it. People have told me I have so much potential to make an impact in this world through my gifts and talents but it is all a moot point since I have no desire to do anything with those gifts and talents. I have no desire to give back to my community or impact the world for the better. So it makes sense that I need to be out of here. In my opinion my exit from this world is long overdue but I lack the courage to do it myself so I would rather let someone else or something else like cancer do the job. M30USA
Be very cautious of the "Word of Faith" movement. I know this may sound over the top, but the principles of this movement are identical to Luciferianism (origin of New Age). You might not even know what Luciferianism is since its not what you'd think. This video here proves the connection. If you watch the entire video, your views will never be the same. Note: while it discusses Joel Osteen in particular, this isn't why I posted the video. Osteen is merely used as an example of Word of Faith. ebor
Sadly you have a misunderstanding of the re-location process. We aren't here to enjoy our stay or change the world but if we can do them that's a bonus. If you do believe in an afterlife what you need to do is suck it up and prepare for eternity, we are given so little time to progress ourselves and prepare for forever, we ought to use every moment given to us because everything we do has an exponential effect on our future home. In short we have to keep our sight on eternity and work hard now before we are called and held accountable for what is given freely to us and how we used it.
