Plan made! Groceries bought! Starting tomorrow I start my mission to become the hottest thing he ever let go of!

Nutrition- track my eating on Spark People. Diet will be fruits, veggies, whole grains, chicken, and salmon. Allowing an indulgence of one cup of coffee per day and a "cheat day" on weekends.

Fitness- Brazil Butt Life combination plan + Hip Hop Abs DVDS. In conjunction with this, I will be alternating between running, belly dancing, & lifting 6x a week with one rest day.

Tanning- Nothing crazy but I do plan to hit the beach a bit more to get a beautiful glow!

Skin- On medicated, doctor prescribed cream for my acne and my skin is already clearer! Worth it!

Awesome idea! You go girl! I think I will join you. :)

I've come late to this thread since I'm new on this forum but I'll throw in my virtual two cents worth.

IMHO you're not going to achieve what you want by looking better, it may in fact make you feel worse.

By focusing all your attention on your outer package you'll be looking at yourself with critical eyes. Evaluating your progress daily and looking for all the "mistakes." I'm going to suggest a psychologically healthier approach:

*Eat healthy. Go on line and read about super foods and learn about nutrition but not obsessively. Just in a relaxed interested manner.

*Buy clothes that look flattering but work with your budget and don't buy too much.

*Don't tan you'll screw up your skin. Were sunscreen and a nice bronzer for color.

*Accept that no matter how much weight you lose, or change your hair, or wear makeup you'll never really look all that different.

(From the picture you have posted you look very nice. You don't have to lose any weight.)

Most importantly:

Stop taking pictures of yourself and posting them on Facebook and limit the time you look in the mirror. The more you post pictures of yourself and get comments like "Wow you look so hot." You'll be stuck in a bad obsessive cycle always trying to look hotter/prettier/better/sexier. You'll spend tons of time trying on different outfits and playing with your hair and makeup while having long photoshoots with your camera or cell phone alone in a room. You think this will boost your confidence but it will do the opposite.

Getting off the soap box now.

Wow, I'm not sure what kind of person you think I am but I can assure you I'm not that self absorbed. I have a career, passions, and a lot of talents and abilities that I spend a lot of my time on. I think sexiness is just an ingredient in a person's recipie (which can be a very hot plate) but I don't think I'd be satisfied with myself if that was the only dimension to who I was.

I'm a college graduate. I'm a music teacher with almost 40 private students. I also will be teaching at a charter school this Fall. My career is the single most rewarding aspect of my life. It is my passion and I absolutely love helping my students achieve their musical aspirations. I consider myself very lucky to have found success so early since music education is a very tough job market. Many of my colleagues are still looking for work.

I signed on with a rock band as their new lead singer. I love performing and the rehearsals/performances are my little "treat" to myself each week.

I also dance, work-out, read, write, and sometimes try my hand at cooking. I have three siblings who I LOVE, and awesome friends who I hang out with on weekends.

Going back to my "plan" that I posted, I explained that many of the diet/exercise aspects were things that I was already doing for many months before my break-up. If you read further down, you'll notice that I admitted to falling into a bit of depression and not eating as well or working out as often. I wasn't feeling good about myself anymore. My weight went up about 8 lbs and my skin was just looking broken out and just awful. This is my 3rd day into my new amped up diet/excercise plan and I can say I am thinking more clearly, my skin breakouts are clearing and (maybe I'm imagining it) but I see collar bones! Yeah collarbones! Either way I feel better and that's all I want really :) I also think ppl are taking the tanning comment too seriously, I just wanted to get a little sun so I could get that fresh "glow" kind of look. I'm not looking to become a carrot! LOL

I've got to say that I disagree with this post...though it's a fine plan to achieve relative mediocrity, which I'm sure is good enough for some folks...
