Author uprooted
Man it seems like the views on porn and the like, are one end of the spectrum to the other. From "he's a nasty perv who's practically a pedo" to "You are a jealous, overreacting uptight wife who needs to get over it" there really is no gray area, is there?
lollipopspot
Man it seems like the views on porn and the like, are one end of the spectrum to the other. From "he's a nasty perv who's practically a pedo" to "You are a jealous, overreacting uptight wife who needs to get over it" there really is no gray area, is there? There may be a question whether he is actually looking to access child pornography - seems to me he is, but maybe there's some debate on that because of porn search terms. If he is indeed someone who is looking for or accessing underage pornography, then I don't think there's a lot of gray area, certainly not within the law, and not for anyone who gives a **** about children.
rewl
You can't be charged with a defamation claim when reporting a possible crime to the police. Also, I don't know where you are but in the US (and I suspect where you are too), it is illegal to even possess child porn, you don't have to create it. Hi, Like I said. Publically accusing somebody of being a pedophile without a legal basis could (and most likely will) result in a defamation lawsuit. And- like I also said- "creating images" is a legal term that also includes "downloading". It would be helpful to actually read next time.

That's fine, but going to the police isn't publicly accusing, so OP should be clear about that.
amaysngrace
The only other things I've seen him search for, are normal, of-age type things. I don't think "fetish" stuff but nothing out of the ordinary. Maybe like the name of an adult actress who is obviously of age (like in her 20's) Then he could very well have just put random words in there like Keenly said, saw someone he liked, and so used those same words over and over again to try to get it back. I'd personally tell him what you're suspecting him of straight up. Tell him that he better start explaining himself or you'll have no choice but to take it up with the police because child pornography is a crime. And gauge his reaction. ktya
What if he typed the opposite, looking for: "Fat, old women sex videos" Wouldn't that creep you out a lot more? Pretty well all guys like small, firm, petite, young girls and would rather see porn like that than the opposite. Most "teen" porn is actually petite women in their early 20s. Rather legit porn is intentionally mislabelled to make it more hot and taboo, for example: Brother sister sex (just two young actors) Father daughter incest (petite girl in her early 20s with an old fat man) Babysitter anything (I doubt any of them were hired as babysitters) I know you find it gross as a woman but men will go through weird phases in their porn viewing. With online porn it's 10 minutes of fame while they hand jack and then it's done. I went through a phase where I was into gagging videos. Sometimes it was so rough the girls would literally puke. If you found that it would probably gross you out too... Forget the cops and don't dump him over a Google search. Just put your hand on his shoulder and say, "honey, next time you search for naked young girls on Google, do a better job of erasing your search history. Looking for things like that could make a girl like me worry that your a pedophile. " Then watch him go beet red and deny it, you smirk at him and he'll probably never search for that again. Although you just may find a search for "big tall fat granny sex" left conspicuously behind for you to find.
